Lake Simtustus RV Park

Lake Simtustus RV Park offers clean and well-maintained facilities including bathrooms with showers. The campground provides excellent Wi-Fi service, and many sites feature stunning views of the lake. There are spacious, level RV sites with hookups throughout the park. For convenience, free golf cart service is available to help guests navigate the 200-foot elevation difference between the office and the lakeside area. The campground also has a small dock for boat access and maintains clean grounds throughout the property.

The RV park is located about 5 miles off the main highway with varied terrain throughout the property. Sites are well-spaced and level, making setup comfortable once you're in place. The lower level sites near the water (A section) can be tight to back into but offer prime waterfront positioning. The campground has several distinct sections - A sites are by the water, while B and C groups provide better views. D sites offer more shade. Note that the campground has significant elevation changes, with paved roads only in the C section and gravel roads elsewhere.

Lake Simtustus Resort provides a peaceful and well-maintained camping experience with spectacular lake views. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall visitor experience. Sites vary in desirability: C and B sections offer the best views, D section provides more shade, and A section offers prime lakefront locations despite tighter spacing. The resort is well-managed with clean facilities including nice bathrooms and showers. While some sites are close together, many campsites offer good spacing and privacy. The park's location offers a quiet retreat that's particularly appreciated for weekend getaways.

Fishing is excellent at Lake Simtustus, with good opportunities right off the dock and in areas near the campground. Water recreation is central to the experience, with boat slips available and rentals including pontoon boats and kayaks. The peaceful lakeside setting creates a perfect backdrop for relaxing weekend getaways. While biking is possible, it's best suited for the C section where roads are flat and paved, as other areas feature steep or gravel terrain. The various elevation points throughout the property offer scenic vistas of the surrounding landscape.
