Nice Stop-Over

Very nice grounds. One star off for highway noise. Looks like many longer term campers here - flower pots, table cloths, decorations, mostly 5th wheelers. Sites near the entrance get the morning sun, sites along the highway are loudest as you might expect. Facilities are excellent. Didn’t try WiFi here, ATT 5G works. Although noisy, the campers aren’t, it’s very quiet here. We would return.

Nice place for longer stays

Back in lots are shaded and not stacked closely together. Wifi shows but no wifi. We used Verizon puck and worked fine. Grounds are kept up nicely. Appears there are long term camping sites, unlike many places we’ve traveled, they are well maintained and clean!! Only small drawback is the hwy traffic if in lots 45-70. This was mainly in the evening when sitting outside but a no issue inside. Overall nice place!!

I now factor internet access

Wonderful grounds, nicely landscaped and slow pace we like. One star due to highway noise. One star due to internet access. I’ve been without for over 2 days. I have a Wi-Fi signal but no internet. Wi-Fi with no internet is just background radiation and should not be advertised as Wi-Fi. Other places have done it right, it is more than an inconvenience. If it’s not provided don’t advertise it. If not for those points, it was a 5 star. Staff and property were top notch!

Well maintained, all amenities, good location, quiet

We stayed here for about 2 weeks in February 2022. It was an unplanned stopped with being in contact with Jason the host briefly morning of arrival. We pulled in about an hour or so before check in time and were taken care of anyway and given a spot. Its very conveniently located just south of town right off the highway. Within 10-15 minutes of driving is anything the town has to offer. The park is paved with lawns between spots and a large (guessing .75 acre) well manicured lawn in the middle with pavilion for gatherings. For once the laundry and showers were better then expected, the best ive seen at a park come to think of it. Yeah the host, Jason, is wound tight but he's beyond nice, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. He keeps the park as nice as it is which can't be easy. My car started leaking oil and he brought it to my attention and helped me take care of it with class. I'm sure he had a minor stroke after but dealing with me kept it together. If you're in the area its the best you'll find, if your not in the area its worth it to go out of your way.

Great, Quiet Site

Very nicely laid out small campground just off the highway, but seemingly pretty quiet. We had to use this campground as a stopover between camping trips to store the TT. The camp host, Jason, is excellent!!

Close to Eugene and sporting events

Minutes from the U of O. Great place to stay when going to sporting events. 20 to 30 minutes away from great wineries. It’s all paved including sites. Full hookups with mostly back in sites. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Lots of nature - definitely coming back

We were lucky enough to rent a space at Deerwood for two months while we escaped the heat of Arizona and visiting our kids in Oregon. The previous review is right the road is narrow and most sites are back in but honestly that’s what gives this park it’s unique charm! We love it here.

Nice RV park, but not worth the price

We had a 10 day stay. Let me start with the positives:

Most spaces have at least 10-12 feet of grass between.
Nicely maintained.
Nice location, lots of trees and grassy areas.
Asphalt pads for most sites, some premium sites have a concrete pad for RV/trailer/camper with asphalt in front.
Decent wifi during the day, but slow as molasses at night. Assuming people streaming or downloading.

Negatives:

One way route around the park.
Road is narrow and winding, larger rigs have issues with staying on path.
Mostly back-in spaces, which combined with the road, makes for interesting times getting your rig settled.
Spaces are fairly short, especially on Standard sites. We barely fit our 39’ Class A and a 2 door Jeep Wrangler. If our vehicle had been any longer, we would have had to park in overflow parking. We saw a lot of fifth wheels with no other vehicle in the space, we assumed they were in the overflow area.
No real spot to unhook a tow, except for the overflow parking area, which has a wider road portion.
Some signs of semi-permanent residents.
If you have a satellite, I am not sure the shady/trees spots would orient. We saw a lot of tailgater dishes at front of spots (we had a lawn spot with landscaping, but not in the trees).
Grassy lawn area is large enough to require weekly maintenance and the lawn mowing can be annoying.
ALL spots require jack pads. Having not stayed in too many parks with asphalt, this was a surprise for us. They did not mention at checkin, but we got a polite email the next morning.
Billed as a luxury rv park. Price does not reflect that. No pool, just laundry/showers/restrooms.
Freeway noise. Very close to I-5. Louder on the side of park closest to street and entrance.
