This one tops them all. Most expensive night after 8,000 miles. And we are less than 200 miles from home. Maybe a “demand and supply” issue but these tiny spots and very tight roads with no room for vehicles ( were trailers helicoptered in?) it is priced way out of line. Especially in off season.
Very large RV park outside The Villages of FL. A mix of transient, seasonal and full timers. Clean if not older facilities. Most sites are good sized. Not too far a drive to services like pharmacy and grocery. Convenient but not too close to highway. Would/will stop here again.
Check in was a breeze, site level, everything clean and located well for out rig. Property had two bathhouses plenty of clean comfortable facilities. Lots of seasonal and full time and all sites seemed well kept, and neat. Convenient to highway with some noise but better than many. Wi-Fi is better than average near office, at least while others are not trying to stream video or something else bandwidth hungry. Great looking pool, but it is empty. Maybe for winter? Great TV game room and nice laundry (and another restroom, single seater) defiantly would stay here again!
Forget the fact that water and sewer were on wrong side. Forget that water and sewer were gross and almost touching each other. Forget that there was one shower and one toilet for the park. No cable, no Wi-Fi. We have just spent last five months traveling coast to coast and this was the most expensive park. All had to be prepaid online fine independent service provider. That should have been my first clue, the “office” for this place is some guys cell phone. DON’T BOTHER!
I swore to not stop in Shamrock TX again, this was the only park back then it was worth missing. I’m so glad in my newest version of life, I gave it another try! Great looooong pull through and actually had good Wi-Fi! Stock animals and office/ retail improvements a nice plus. Weather was too wet to check out facilities but seems to have Rr, showers and laundry. Latest owners seem to be into making it a nice place. We will come again!
Nice enough, everything worked. Basically a gravel parking lot. Site is level. Easy to maneuver, laundry looked very nice. As so often the case wi-fi was worthless background radiation…
This is a nice park. Seems modern and extra space is available for at toys, they are popular here. Some sites have spectacular views. Book early as you can, we were lucky to get a spot anywhere near Moab a week out. Lost a star due to wi-fi. Little more than background radiation.
Owned & operated by nice couple. Beautiful grounds on bank of Rouge River. Some premium river sites. Just an overnight for us, would have enjoyed more.
Wonderful grounds, nicely landscaped and slow pace we like. One star due to highway noise. One star due to internet access. I’ve been without for over 2 days. I have a Wi-Fi signal but no internet. Wi-Fi with no internet is just background radiation and should not be advertised as Wi-Fi. Other places have done it right, it is more than an inconvenience. If it’s not provided don’t advertise it. If not for those points, it was a 5 star. Staff and property were top notch!
Found this place to be more than adequate. Full hookups, beautiful views and very adorable ($29+). Highway noise, yes. Train noise, yes. But $29! Very few campers, county owned. Low key no frills but very convenient location to Eugene OR, and surrounding areas of interest
Nice little even park outside town of Burns, OR and not far from Crystal Crane Hot Springs. Both are lovely. Fast internet, lots of security warnings, make sure to use security like a VPN. Bathroom/showers were very few and a bit messy. I would have given it 4 stars if not for the road noise. Thankfully it is not a busy rd at night. I sleep with earplugs and still bothered me. Would stop here again.
Level new concrete pads. Nice layout. Almost all pull through. Great little store. View of the mountains. Great LPG service. Large neat sites with clean table. RR & showers looked Amazing.
Older park with new owners. Convenient to hwy 80, Waco Nebraska. That means some hwy noise but it’s Nebraska, it’s flat! No jake brake noise. Besides we now wear ear plugs to bed so not an issue (try it, you’ll like it.) This place has all kinds of activities for kids young and old(er). Arcade, pool ( being repaired at time of review, it’s too cool now to think of swimming), corn hole toss game, miniature golf or just rocking on one of the many swinging chairs. Our site was ample, gravel pad and grass, fire ring, table and swing. Everything worked ( other than pool) even Wi-Fi, it worked well! That’s enough to bring me back. A few more of the new owners upgrades and repairs and this place could be a five star.
This is not bad for a stop near (sort of) the highway. Spots are good size, but gravel. Roads are wide but camp sites are on a berm so our truck angled down. This caused the hitch height to increase making it difficult to un/hitch. Wi-Fi dropped every 5 minutes first day, didn’t have internet working second day. Just outside Nashville if that is a plus. Would stay again but not my first choice.
Took the new travel trailer here as a shake down run. Wife was in failing health so I pretty much set up alone. Everything was well laid out and took little time to get everything hooked up and make the two of us comfy. Out of the way, yet close to our Naples home. Not much for us to do (I don't fish) other than take the beagle for pleasant walks. It was perfect. TV reception of local channels was good enough. A pleasant last trip together.
