Very nice, quiet campground, rangers seemed to drive by enough. Fire pits were all clean as were the restrooms… showers however could use some mold removal.
Attendant at the gate got on to us for not stopping each time we traveled through the entrance…. Hiking and kayaking were superb

I have camped here at least once every year since I discovered Guilford Lake in 2017. The campground is clean (mostly) and quiet. It is dog friendly; all dogs must be leashed.
Quiet. Right on the lake; super easy lake access. Boat ramp. Swimming beach. Convenient (for me anyway).…
This park is huge! There are several areas to pay for camping as well as primitive camp. It’s near the water and they offer several trails. Other than the trails, there is a stone house to view as well as a cave. We explored both and thought they were both interesting. The paid sites are pretty…

All and All great place to camp, good things; 1) lots of deer, turkeys, racoons, owls etc. 2) close to a farmer's market Jankowski's great place to get fresh food, 3) once you have level camp, all good, 4) has showers and bathrooms located conveniently and 5) dumpster near exit instaef of near…
Tomlinson Run is a nice little state park in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Has a little store, dump station, most sites are 30amp and they have added a few 50 amp sites. Most sites are gravel/dirt, Handicapped sites are blacktop. State Park has many hiking/biking trails, a swimming…
We fell in love with this little campground. While our site wasn't lakefront, many of the sites are right on the water. We only spent one night there but we're really looking forward to returning with more time to stay so that we can take advantage of the kayak and paddle boat rentals.
This was a Fall camping experience in a cabin as we knew it would be cold in the evenings. We also had a non-camper with us so this was a nice compromise. We had a cozy cabin with 2 bathrooms. We also had a small kitchen where we could cook when we didn't want to cook over the fire. This was…

We stayed one night on our way out west and this place was not far from the highway and it was super quiet. Perfect restful night it’s just what we needed.
The tent only sites were quite sloped. There are several trails to explore, and you can walk down the hill to the lake. Campground had nice showers and was quiet.
Called to make reservations for a weekend of camping and was told they only do seasonal camping.
Awesome little camp spot

As mentioned in other reviews, the road in can be a little sketchy, but I think it adds to the adventure and once you are there, wow. Owner meets you at the gate, very nice guy to talk to. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Tons of stuff to do with the kids. They loved the lake and…
Most lots are gravel with the exception of the handicapped spots. Tomlinson Run has added a few 50amp spots this year 2021. Sites are electric only 30amp with a few 50amp. Plenty of hiking, fishing, paddle boating, mini golf, and swimming in the public pool.
Saltfork is located about 45 minutes from my house, and makes for the perfect overnight trip.
There are tons of things to do, and lots of space in which to do them. My favorites includes hiking trails, and the lakeside dog park.
I stay in the primitive camping, it allows for more…
We stayed 2 nights, had an issue with satellite dish deploying and then getting stuck. Neighboring campers so helpful!
