      Lebanon-Cincinnati NE KOA

      Friendly and quiet

There are a lot of people here, but even during the day we hardly hear any loud noises coming from any of the other campers. Walking the property (as much as I can with my cane) everyone is so friendly. The grounds are kept very clean. The people from the office actually do garbage pick-up anytime during office hours! Just place your trash bag/ other items to be thrown away at the front of your site and they take it away. They even have recycling, but you have to take that up yourself. They won't just tell you where it is, they will show you. I haven't been to a KOA site in 15 years and the one I went to was not a great experience, but I highly recommend staying here if you're passing through Cincinnati.

      Hueston Woods State Park Campground

      Small close site.

I feel this is more of a tent camping campground. You park on pads and park campers anywhere you want. Nice shower house. Not much for kids. Hills.

      Lebanon-Cincinnati NE KOA

      Very Nice

This KOA has been around ever since I can remember. The grounds are kept nice. Staff was super friendly. Lebanon is a great centrally located town. Near Cincinnati, Dayton and Kings Island. It’s also very close to the scenic Little Miami River. That’s great for paddling. There are also a few canoe liveries on the river not far.

    Guide to Batavia

Stonelick State Park Campground sits 877 feet above sea level near Batavia, Ohio, in a region characterized by rolling hills and deciduous forests. What to Do

Cycling on paved paths: Morgan's Canoe and Outdoor Adventure connects to paved bike trails suitable for all ages. A camper reported, "Close to the Little Miami Bike Trail this was easy to walk on with my friend and her two little ones. What You Should Know

Seasonal considerations: Cowan Lake State Park Campground operates year-round but experiences distinct seasonal changes. During autumn camping, a visitor observed: "With the vast old growth forests, dried/dead branches for firewood was plentiful for a chilly night (38) fire."

Site selection matters: When booking at Winton Woods, request a site away from the main road. One camper shared: "The biggest downfall to this campground is the location. Just doesn't seem quite right to be able to hear city noises and major road traffic while camping."

Fire restrictions vary: Some locations near Batavia have specific fire regulations. At Winton Woods, a camper pointed out they had "NO fires-allowed," which can impact your evening camping experience if s'mores are on your agenda.

    Tips for Camping with Families

    Tips from RVers
