Fun while it lasts Father’s Day weekend

A nice little get-away interrupted by storms and floods. I really enjoy Hueston Woods and the spot we had was perfect…if the weather had cooperated! Fun with my daughters

Easy place to stop

Nice campground with several pull through sites for big rigs. Pool and new dog park with a very nice play area for the kids. We prefer site 18 which offers nice privacy and os next to a stream.

Trails very over grown only four bathrooms.

We travel around and prefer to stay in State Parks because they are usually so nice and well maintained. The trails here were all over grown with down trees everywhere, they have a disc golf course it was over grown and had so much poison ivy we could only play two holes.

They have 79 sites plus…

Beautiful, private spot

Went with a buddy for a one night stay. Beautiful spot for tent camping right next to the Little Miami River. Picnic tables and fire pit are also nice amenities. I just wish there were a trash can. Still had a great time, though.

Great Campground

We arrived three hours after check in started and headed straight to the camp office to check in. Our tent site was ready right away and the kind lady at the desk helped us get DRY firewood and helped us locate our spot. Our campground was clean and mostly quiet. About a 2 min walk and you can walk…

So peaceful and quiet!

My husband and I have lived and traveled in our RV for about 16 years and Frontier Campground is by far the most peaceful, quiet place we have stayed over the years. Because they only allow monthly reservations, it keeps the traffic to a minimum and creates more of a community atmosphere. The owner…

NO CICADAS

We were THRILLED to leave our cicada-infested northern Kentucky home and find that this park was blissfully free of Brood X cicadas. It was so peaceful, and we were able to fully enjoy the outdoors.

Awesome Place, Even better people.

Stayed here with a friend for his daughters softball tournament. Campsites are nice, a little close together but very nice. On the last evening our toddler became ill and was up sick most of the night. Went to the office to inquire about late checkout or staying an extra night. They were awesome…

always a pleasure

we camped at Hueston Woods this past weekend. The weather was great and the campsite was awesome. Luckily we have been here before, so we know what campsites to grab when booking. We decided to golf on Saturday because it was a little too cold to go to the beach. The golf course is awesome and the…

Small site

When we originally arrived at the site we were VERY disappointed. Maybe 5 feet on both sides of pavement so there was no room for a tent let alone two. The fire pit was covered in mud and it looks like someone drove through it as well and that’s what caused the mud and what not. However! The staff…

Nice setting - easy access to 71

Very well kept campground with a lot of shade trees. Good separation of seasonal and overnight campers. Pull through and back ins available with full hookups. Friendly and helpful staff. Playground for the kids and a fishing pond. Grass between sites...some are more level than others.
