Maumee Bay State Park Campground is located near the shores of Lake Erie, featuring flat terrain with a mix of wetlands and woodlands. Temperatures range from the 20s in winter to the 80s in summer. Nearby attractions include the Maumee Bay State Park Golf Course and the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, offering opportunities for outdoor recreation and wildlife observation.

The large family campground offers electric and full-hookup sites. Pets are permitted on designated sites.

Campground ponds are open only to registered campers.
Five miles of asphalt "bicycle/pedestrian" trails provide access to most day-use areas.
Bike rental, a basketball court and horseshoe pits are available.
Registered campers can borrow games and sporting equipment from the camp office.
Reservations may be made up to six months in advance online or by calling (866) 644-6727.
Off-peak Season: From November 1 to April 30, showerhouses are closed; two family restrooms are heated and include shower facilities. Full hook-up sites do not have water at the site; fees are reduced accordingly. Potable water is available at the dump station. Campsites 145 through 178 remain open.
