Quiet, beautiful campground located just outside of Kansas City, Mo. We had a full hookup site located right by the playground and it was perfect for our family. Only complaint were the bathroom/shower houses could use to be updated but they were quite clean!
Conveniently located right next to Going to the Sun Road on the west side of Glacier National Park. This campground is beautifully maintained with a friendly staff and spotless, large bathrooms/ shower houses. The sites are all pull thru and have plenty of space between your neighbors.
Conveniently located about 5 miles off I-90! We stayed one night on our way from the Badlands to Glacier National Park and I wish we would have had more time here. Our site backed up to the Boulder River which was beautiful! Clean campground, friendly staff, and adequate bathroom facilities. (I should include that we made reservations about an hour before we arrived due to our reserved site at Riverside campground in Laurel, Montana being abandoned!)
We showed up for our overnight stay on our way out west and the campground appeared abandoned. We received an email confirmation several days before our arrival stating that we must check in on arrival but there was no place to do so. A different camper was in the site we had reserved and we tried all phone number we could find and no one answered at 5:02pm. We sent an email to the campground immediately and are waiting for a response. Thankfully, we found a different campground 70 miles away with availability.
Great location right off I-90! Camp host was very friendly and the facilities are clean! It’s right by the 60’ Green Giant statue! Pretty buggy this time of the year as one would expect!
Beautiful campground located right off I-74! The sites are mostly wooded and relatively level. Clean, spacious shower houses. Only complaint I have are the weeds being quite tall between sites.
This campground has everything a family could possibly need! Spacious sites, spotless (air conditioned) shower house, two playgrounds, a beach, splash pad, hiking paths, and much more. Definitely bring bug spray and sunscreen because you are going to need it! (The cabins were damaged by Hurricane Ida and are currently unusable.)
We chose this campground due to the convenient location near Mammoth Cave National Park. The campground was very clean, spacious campsites, nice playground and loops A and C had beautiful waterfront sites.
The hiking trails are beautiful and well marked. Campsites are very spacious and most offer a great view of the lake. My biggest complaints are the bathhouses being in need of updating/maintenance, the fire rings are just rocks placed in a circle (hard for kids to see when the terrain is rough everywhere), and the number of people speeding through the state park makes it dangerous to walk from the campground to the hiking areas. On the plus side, they are remodeling about half the sites and they look amazing.
Very spacious camp sites, many of which are lake front. The campground is quiet and clean. One word of caution, check the grade of your site before booking, there are quite a few a very steep grade. Bathrooms/shower houses are small but are clean!
Wonderful campground located on Lake Erie! Sites were somewhat private with a thin layer of trees or brush between them. Campground is separated into multiple cul-de-sacs which kept car traffic to a minimum. Great place to explore with kids!
Spacious sites with amazing views of Lake Russell. Clean campground with nice playgrounds! Highly recommend visiting this campground!
Incredibly tight spots making it difficult to back campers into. Multiple vehicles, tents, etc at a majority of sites making it feel even tighter. Nicely shaded, deep fire rings, and very clean. Great playground, right next to the beach.
