    Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina

Mountain Stream RV Park is at about 1800′ elevation in the middle of the Pisgah National Forest, nestled in a narrow valley surrounded by mountains on all sides. Beautiful Buck Creek flows through this valley and along two sides of the campground. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only about 3 miles away, but it’s 5 miles by road.

We are surrounded by gorgeous mountain scenery. You can take in many of the interesting attractions that are only a short drive away or you can just relax by the stream and listen to the cold clear water flowing over the rocky stream bed. And speaking of the stream, there’s trout in that thar’ water. All of our sites have full hook-ups – power (30 & 50 amp), water, sewer and cable TV.

Enjoy full access to my 4 acre farm in a beautiful valley in the Blue Ridge foothills, 15 minutes from Lake Lure & Chimney Rock; 20 minutes from Tryon Equestrian Center. Also, easy access to Asheville, Hendersonville, and Black Mountain. Plus restaurants are only 5-15 minutes away.

Amazingly, you'll also have access to the full bathroom/shower in my lovely home; and full access to all the fresh water you might need. All CDC recommended practices are in place.

It has a beautiful fire ring under a lovely white pine (please bring your own firewood). In addition, I have a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal).

My only requests are to please remove your shoes when you come in to use the facilities and properly dispose of trash and cigarette butts (please pack out your trash). I look forward to hosting you!!

In addition, there can be a discount for 1 week or longer stays. Please contact me for more information.

KITCHEN -- There is an outdoor kitchen equipped with a BBQ grill & single-stove burner cooktop, two 5-gallon water jugs, a sink basin, and a big cooler pre-filled with ice.

POWER -- A 2000-Wh solar battery and 400W of solar panels provide plentiful power for device charging, lights, and a standing fan.
