The park gates close at 6 p.m., and at least one camper received an incorrect access code, so confirming gate procedures at check-in is worth the extra step. Sites in the open field can collect standing water after heavy rain. The campground is gated with ranger oversight, which some campers consider a plus for security. Ebenezer Park is closed for renovations. The renovation projects include installing concrete pads at each campsite, adding RV and tent sites, paving the campground roads, updating water and sewer lines, and modernizing the restrooms and concession stand. Ebenezer Park will not accept any camping or picnic shelter reservations until a reopening date is set.
