Nice campground for hiking, historic buildings nearby and a great camp store. Lots of regulars it seems. Sites are close but not a negative. Lots of loud neighbors the weekend that we were there. Beautiful water areas, great places to take photographs lots of friendly people. Our site was private…
The campground was well cared for, but very small and many of the sites were very close together. Particularly our lot which was very difficult to level our Popup, even though it was a pull through site. The sites closer to the water were very pretty and we did enjoy the many fishing spots.
Very well maintained, spacious campsites. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Not much to do in surrounding areas.

This was a last minute weekend get away. The website says first come first serve when you make your reservation for an RV site. When we arrived Friday afternoon, they told us that they have a set spot for us. We get to the site to discover it backs onto a construction area where they’re putting…

Close to I77 ample space, cable available ,electric service tested good o n 50 amp, and pizza 🍕 delivery available.
We found this place one weekend by chance, have stayed twice now and love it. Wonderful family owned place, who also work do most of the work there and are very helpful. Our 12 year old son loves the pool and being able to ride his electric bike around the campground. The host does a great job…
Beautiful nature preserve with large 50+ site campground. Tent sites around $28. Within 6 miles of stores and amenities. Helpful camp hosts know which sites may be best for certain equipment.
Quiet at night, level plots, tons to do!
According by the rates I was expecting an actual resort. But not even close. 90% of the sites are occupied by permanent campers. The staff don’t take care of the other sites at all. Ours was small and dirty. We’ve been for 2 nights in a row (so far) and both nights were very noisy because of two…
Nice campground can get busy on weekends and holidays.Usually locals with family.Lots of hiking trails and the battleground to your.
We have been coming to this campground for seven or eight years. We’ve camped here as tent and rv campers.
The campsites tend to be spacious and wooded- perfect for privacy and hammocks.
Once we were tent camping here, and woke up to a herd of deer on our site! There were seriously 10-15 deer…

I had determined that this campground was the perfect distance and look to host my first ever outing. I was nervous and excited as I rolled up to the park.
The visitor center staff were welcoming and assisted in securing the few last-minute items that I needed (firewood, ice, popcorn). The…

You can purchase Carowinds tickets right here and ride a shuttle all day long to the park rather than fight traffic. They enforce the rules really well so quiet time is actually just that. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Cabelas, Walmart, and other shopping is nearby for supplies as well…

Always a great getaway from the bustle of city life. Day use area can be packed in the summer but they have plenty of rules to keep the park beautiful and orderly. The camping side has scattered tent and group sights with some large wooded RV sights and clean cabins. Bath house is very well kept…
