Rude owner

Pulled in disheveled premises. The owner was mowing the grass soo we drove up to camping area. Very bad conditions. Water service suspect and power looked dangerous so we told him we would be not staying. We were making other arrangements and the owner came back and said "get off my property"

Hope they can upgrade it

I used to live in the area and never realized this place was here. We came across it accidentally. Passport America you can get it for $25 a night cash. There's a few old campers lying about ( talk of removal ) and a handful of weekend campers. The owner Scott is very friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds are well kept but like I said everything is dated. I believe he's trying to slowly update everything. It's about 10 minutes off of exit 19 from the Thruway and the same from exit 20 off Thruway. Rig size is definitely limited primarily due to the entrance. Rig size is 35 ft. There's a men's and women's room we didn't use them. That's about it for amenities. If you want to just be in a nice laid-back area, this camp is perfect. Distant road noise from the NYS Thruway is constant but not annoying. Also a train off in the distance can be hear from time to time, but we had 4 very pleasant restful days and nights. We have ATT hotspot that worked good enough to stream tv and computers. Cell service for Verizon is weak too. We use our hotspot to assist the phone service and it was fine. Has a dumpster. Power is limited to 30amp. At present no 50 amp service to date.
