Beautiful views of the Rio grande

Such a fun escape. The Rio grande was cold but worth the swim. We had a great time and only saw a few other people.

Basic and good

This site is dusty & a little wild, but the views of the Rio Grande & mountains are great. Bathroom has clean running water. The shelter provides nice shade. Bugs & dust were only real drawback. Oh, and it was hot!

Taos Junction Campground

We had a great time camping here. Very cheap only $6 to camp all ages all year. They have nice grills at the tent sites along 28th tables. Bathrooms were nice and clean and a close walk. With lots to do including fish and hiking trails. We look forward to going back.

Rio Bravo

Taos has the perfect vibe whether you're in the city plaza, at the ski resort or exploring the gorge. There are many available rafting and adventure companies along the river and in town to take you on guided tours of the wilderness and rafting/kayaking the Rio Grande in the Taos box. The Rio Bravo campgrounds are nice campgrounds to make base camp at. They offer easy access to the river and gorge, running water with showers and a community kiva. Nice campground of the car camper.

Taos, NM

I come to Toas once a year. Occasionally we decide to camp. The best part about camping here is you can kayak down the river. We always rent from a local rafting business. The tour guides have never failed to impress. They are only 15 minutes from the camp ground. The camp site is right by the rio grande river. You can take a day trip in toas and see local artwork or the Gorge!
