Santa Fe National Forest manages Manzanares Dispersed Camping Area as an established site within its boundaries, giving campers a base in the Pecos region of northern New Mexico. Campfires are permitted, and pets are welcome. The nearby Manzanares Campground sits immediately adjacent, which may suit campers who want a developed alternative. Dispersed camping here works best for self-sufficient campers comfortable with minimal infrastructure, as amenities are limited to fire and pet allowances with no additional facilities confirmed in available data.
