Several RV parks around Ponderosa offer full hookup sites for different sized rigs. Route 66 RV Park in Edgewood provides electric, water, and sewer hookups with 50-amp service on level gravel sites. Cuervo Mountain RV Park and Horse Hotel in Stanley accommodates big rigs with full hookup sites and allows pets. "The sites are very narrow, with barely enough room to pull in and definitely not enough for awnings, slides, steps or your car," noted one visitor about Hidden Valley RV Park, which sits just off I-40 but maintains relatively low road noise due to its hillside location. American RV Resort in Albuquerque offers 217 full hookup sites with 50-amp electric service, though fires are not permitted within the resort boundaries.
Advance reservations are strongly recommended during balloon festival season when prices can increase significantly. Access to most parks requires minimal navigation challenges, though Hidden Valley's terraced sites on a hillside may present difficulty for longer rigs. Pull-through rv pads are available at several parks including High Desert RV Park and Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, both located along I-40 west of Albuquerque. According to one visitor, "We were thankful to get a spot at a busy time" as availability can be limited, especially during peak travel periods. Most parks provide sanitary dump stations, trash service, and Wi-Fi, though cell service quality varies by location. Pets are generally welcome throughout the area's RV parks, with some offering designated dog areas, though rules regarding leashes and waste disposal apply.
"All sites have full hookups and most are pull through. There are two fenced in dog parks. While it seemed close to I40 you could not hear the traffic. Showers and laundry as well."
"More importantly, our main purpose for stopping here was to get 100% of the eclipse, Also needed a week's stay to do laundry, restock groceries, and rest from short stints along the way."
from $20 - $60 / night
"Roomy, pull-through parking. The slides and awning were fully extended without getting close to the adjacent sites."
"Gravel roadways and relatively level pull through sites. Good FHUs. When we arrived, the office was closed. We reserved E010 but were told to pick any open space in the "A" row."
from $43 - $87 / night
"Close to Cedro Peak mountain biking and hiking trails."
"We stayed 2 nights there when nothing around was available. When I called the young lady was very helpful getting us a spot. The sites are tight and are terraced up a hill. Nice dog park."
from $40 - $75 / night
"Pretty level dirt and gravel spots. Very few permanent residence if any. We stayed here 8 days and saw tons of RVer's come and go. Safe part of town."
"The old cars and trailers were cool. There is road noise from the interstate, spots are closr together. Had a nice little store with RV supplies and propane refill onsite which was convenient."
from $30 - $37 / night
"Kim the mgr is great everything is clean, a lot of long term workers in park. Safe and gated."
"Nice laundry room, game room and kitchen that can be used by guests. There was a good bit of road noise but that was to be expected being so close to the interstate."
from $40 - $44 / night
"The pull-through sites are easily assessable and long enough for an F250 w/30’ travel trailer and not be detached. The park is clean and quaint."
"We asked for a spot with a little distance from others and they easily accommodated with a lovely pull through spot with a picnic table, some grass and some nice trees to either side."

"Pull through campsites. Nice accommodations. Recommend."
"There is a spacious dog park that my pups enjoyed. Right off the interstate but the noise was minimal. No frills (ie no bathhouse) but it was totally adequate for our needs and felt very safe."

"Excellent RV park close to Santa Fe. Super helpful staff. Nice facilities. Sites are sizable with nice concrete patios."
from $76 - $106 / night
"The sites next to us on both sides are a good 40 feet on both sides. So your not right on your neighbors utilities stations. The Power polls has both 30amp and 50amp and 20amp power outlets."
"With all the state and national parks closed, we had to go commercial. Rt. 66 RV Resort is just loaded with amenities (none of which we used, thanks to social distancing)."
from $45 - $68 / night
"I believe it’s 40 amp and 50 amp. Great easy going owners. Helpful guide in employee for rig parking. Very convenient to have full hook up and be close to town."
"The RV park has everything including level spots and a dump station and all hookups and has some nice views of the mountains but it is quite near to the highway so has a bit of noise"

Nice campground with level sites, clean facilities, very poor WIFI. Decent prices.
Heated personal bathrooms with private shower os a big bonus. Laundry is $1.50. Spaces are clean and the neighbors are quiet.
Some light highway noise, I was in the back of the campground and it did not bother me at all. Somewhat undeveloped with dirt roads, but able to get around easily, they seem to maintain them well, but I was here after some decent rain so of course they were a little bit rough. Employees are friendly and helpful and I very much enjoyed my stay even though this is an unusual place for me to be, I usually would rather boondock or stay at less developed campgrounds :) not many people here at this time of year so more to my liking that way.
Full hook ups all appear to be at the front of the campground with quite a few RVs there. Easy to get to Santa Fe to enjoy things there, less than a 20 minute drive. They also have a very nice small hiking loop at the back of the campground, my dog very much enjoyed it! (and I did too)
Great campground with plenty of amenities. Showers are really nice and clean but could be a little warmer in there. Conveniently located right off Route 66 and I noticed that some reviews mentioned the noise from the hi way but I didn’t hear any traffic.
Friendly and helpful management, awsome nightly rates
Nice and convenient stop west of Albuquerque. A little fancy, but great dog park, quiet, and nice facilities. Pretty vista and watching sun set and rise.
Expensive.. nice facility… I stayed 2 nights.. needed to use the laundry.. wash machines are super tiny and $3.25 a pop… I used 3 and 1 didn’t dispense enough water. Then another $3.25 for the dryer… at least it was big. People are friendly.
Great spot, not too hectic. We stay here before and after the Balloon Fiesta each year.
**Wonderful Stay and Great Customer Service!**
We had a really nice experience at Rancheros de Santa Fe! We originally booked one of the domes, but due to damage from the recent rain, we were upgraded to a cabin. The ladies at the front office were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They really made us feel taken care of. The cabin was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, which made our stay even better. The bathrooms were also very clean and well-maintained, which is something I really appreciate when traveling. I also loved that our cabin was located right behind the main office. Since it was just my girlfriend and me traveling together, being so close to the office gave us an extra sense of safety and peace of mind. Even though our original plans changed, everything worked out great. We really appreciated the hospitality and how accommodating the staff was. I would definitely recommend Rancheros de Santa Fe and would love to stay here again!
