This campground is in a fantastic location. You are close to downtown Lincoln with Cascade Park and some restaurants and the other way you have trail heads for the Appalachian Trail and many other outdoor activities.

There was one thing that was a little deceiving about the info on the website. My sister and I were hoping to go kayaking and saw on the campground website they rented kayaks. We assumed we would be able to rent them there at the campground and use them there, as we don’t have a car that can transport kayaks. When we got there they referred us to a company down the street that would rent us kayaks and help us find water. Definitely not what we saw on the website. Also, the campsite my sister and I got was considered a “primitive” spot but the only thing that was really primitive about it was that there was no water faucet and you have to cross the main road to get to the bathrooms and showers. Overall it’s a great place, the bathrooms are clean, you can cool down in the river or in there swimming area and they did a great job keeping everything COVID safe.
