Something for everyone

Open to RV’s, has clean cabins, and also quiet riverfront sites towards the back. Has amenities like a small store and little playground across the street. Also a coin operated washer/dryer which was helpful when my son got car sick on the ride! Owners are very nice and accommodating. Self check is fast and easy.

Varied sites

Some sites are flat, others tiered and divided making your site not always a drive up. But it was quiet and the pond is beautiful. Would love to get a spot by the pond next time.

Noisy & no privacy, better for RV's

What's good: Lots of amenities, clean facilities, kitchen wash area, playgrounds, etc.

What's not: you are right by the highway and the tent site loop gets a front row seat to all the cars coming in from the road. The sites are right on top of each other with no tree separation. Not for me…

River front is amazing!

There is a wide range of camping here. Cabins, yurts, and tent sites. The closer to the (well stocked) general store the less private. But if you're looking for picturesque get a spot by the river. You won't be able to drive up, but it's only a short walk.

This is a popular place so book early. Also note you will most likely have no phone signal while you are here. (That may be a blessing or a curse depending on how you look at it!) We enjoyed our stay here.

No fuss, basic sites & great rates!

It was my first time going to a first come, first served campground. I was a little nervous about not having a reservation since it was a nice weekend and it's so convenient to many great hiking spots.

We got there late morning, the check in directions were clear. We picked our spot, set up and paid. Done!

Loved that the plots weren't on top of each other and cheaper than other places. Facilities were clean. I can't wait to go back and try one of the riverfront sites.
