Preferred RV Resort

This place has all the amenities one could ever need. The bath house was literally the cleanest I have ever seen. The laundry room was just as clean. The spaces are pretty close together, but everyone we met, Staff included, were super friendly and chatty. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and well maintained, there was plenty of activity areas (corn hole, shuffle board etc) and a coy pond with GIANT fish.

Only stayed for two nights for laundry and showers and a break from boondocking…lots of permanent and semi-permanent residents, many with off road vehicles (mostly side by sides) as there appeared to be an off road area and big event going on right near the RV park.

I don’t believe that they have an age limit on RV’s, but the staff at the gate will check your rig to make sure it’s not a hooptie. They cringed a bit at our old Toyota Motorhome, but after looking at it and seeing that it had been restored completely on the inside (we haven’t painted the exterior yet) and had no leaks, they let us stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a night to do laundry, shower, etc.  It's your basic RV park in terms of layout and close neighbors, but we were so impressed with how friendly everyone is!  It might be because it's sort of a co-op, and long term residents are part owners.  Overnighters are welcome though.

We paid $27.25 total with our Passport America discount, so roughly double that without the discount.

Showers were very clean, facilities looked like they'd been recently remodeled.

Laundry was nice and cheap and dryers worked well.  $1/wash and $1.50/dry.

Lots of activities and community events going on here.  Residents seem really happy to be here and were very welcoming even to short timers like us.  There's even a host who stopped by our RV to welcome us and gave us a ton of information and literature about things to do in town and the surrounding area.

The pool is beautiful, and there's a really lovely small walking garden with benches and ponds with huge koi, shaded areas to sit and hang out.

Recycling is available here (but they don't take glass).  

There's a small clean gravel dog run as well.

Propane is also for sale here for $3.75/gal for non members, RV tanks filled on Tuesdays only.  There's also a cylinder exchange.

They have a dump and potable water fill available for non-guests for $10.
