Wide open dispersed camping on BLM land draws RVers and truck campers to gravel sites accessible by standard vehicles. The rocky road requires careful navigation but remains passable for most rigs, including larger setups. Cell service runs strong with multiple carriers reporting good connectivity. Wind exposure across the flat terrain offers little natural shelter, making this spot better suited for hard-sided camping rather than tents. Campers find places to camp around Pahrump within easy driving distance of town for supplies while maintaining a backcountry feel.

RV or Vehicle Camping Recommended

Super rocky but doable even in a Corolla. Wide open spaces, didn’t see a fire ring, and lots of campers. Didn’t feel comfortable staying in a tent with my child. Phone service was good and close to town. If I had an rv or truck topper I’d be all over it

Good spot

Rough road to access, but accessible with 2wd. Plenty of flat spots. A decent amount of trash laying around. Close to town.

Quiet stop after Death Valley

Spent one full day and night here after spending about a week in the park. Absolutely amazing spots close to town but far enough at the same time. Minimal cover from the wind is the only drawback. 3 bars 5g with ATT and booster, pulling 300mbps with redzone wireless.
