Looking to get away from it all? Transformation Hills Campground is located in one of the least densely populated counties in the US. Just slightly over three miles off of highway 306 on Transfer Site road, the campground overlooks Cresent Valley and the Cortez mountain range. Enjoy the sound of the wind blowing through the sagebrush and let the songbirds wake you in the morning.

Directions

From Highway 80, take the Highway 306, Beowawe offramp. Drive for 12 miles, make a right hand turn on Transfer Site road. Drive 3 miles until you see a steel fence post with a #6 painted on a concrete at the base of the post on your right. Turn right just before the post. Follow the Drive for a few hundred feet to a picnic table. For tent camping there are some nice level, rock free areas about 50 to a 100 feet beyond the parking area.
