Glacier Grizzly Resort- RV, Tent Site & TIPI - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

What a great stay and beautiful mountain views. My wife loved this place. It was nice and peaceful. The facilities were clean and we used the laundry services for the kids clothes. Had a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Wrecked enroute to campground a week before our reserved stay. Tried to cancel and was told by owner he would have to call back with cancellation number. He never called and refused to answer phone or emails.

He has since told me he will not honor refund policy on his website. 

Do yourself a favor and spare yourself headaches and dealing with your credit card companies to report a fraudulent merchant!

Stay away! Also have heard reports that photos on his site are BOGUS! 

We have camped all over the country. Our first wrecked RV and our first encounter with a fraud and a crook campground owner!

Great Location On the East Side. Was easy to get to Many Glacier, Two Medicine East Glacier entrances. The staff was helpful and had plenty of tips on how to get in the Park and told us about tours we could to take. We stayed 6 nights in our Motorhome.

We stayed for a quick overnight between Glacier. The campground is in a perfect place and once the construction is done it will be great! We were in a 39' MH and the hookups were solid, internet was awesome. Nice flat ground and appeared very family friendly. All the amenities aren’t quite in place but i think given time it will be a very nice Park.

We camped at Glacier Grizzly campground in our Class C Motorhome. We read reviews that they don’t have 50 amp sites. They did. The campground was at a Great location close to the East entrances.

Stayed for a few days in July. Had easy access entrance to the campground. Self check in was great as we came in late night and the staff was nice.  We were in a pull through site.

The employees are friendly and helpful. Campground was brand new and not over crowded, like most RV sites in Glacier. The kids had fun fishing on the river at the campground and even caught 2 fish.

We stayed in a 39 foot Class A motorhome. We only stayed one night on our way to the West Side. Staff are very nice and helpful. Entry and exit is easy. We didn't use any amenities as we were there for only one night.

We stayed here in August in an RV+tent site and loved the location! Close to the Park, restaurants and all that's going on the East side! Our only negative is that their bathrooms get really busy, with having  extra large hot water showers. They were really clean and new.

We paid more than $100 per night for 3 nights. We booked based on fraudulent images and information before open. We turned around and left as soon as we arrived. At the end of the season, it is still just a dusty gravel lot with no amenities. There is a partially constructed building and a derelict trailer. These people are criminals and of course will try to keep our money. Do not give them yours!

We stayed last week for three days in our 5th wheel. The site was large and the hookups were good. The surrounding views were nice and the fishing in the creek on the park property was excellent. We were told that they are doing more improvements, we will.be back next year.

Glacier Grizzly Resort is a little slice of heaven on earth! I felt like I stepped into a fairy tale with the stunning alpine views and pristine nature all around. The activities were so much fun, from kayaking on the crystal-clear lakes to watching the mesmerizing northern lights at night. The staff's enthusiasm and dedication made the experience even more memorable. This place has my heart!

I can't praise Glacier Grizzly Resort enough! The combination of breathtaking scenery and top-notch accommodations made our stay truly unforgettable. Glacier Grizzly Resort is a paradise for adventure seekers! From exhilarating hikes to thrilling wildlife encounters, this place has it all. The guides were knowledgeable and made our trips both safe and exciting. Back at the resort, the spa facilities were a blissful way to unwind after an action-packed day. I can't wait to bring my friends here and create unforgettable memories together!

I had a family trip planned out for May.. responsibly called and cancelled my reservation due to activated military needs. After 3 emails and multiple phone calls it has been nearly 2 months. Calling the resort, the manager, Danny decided that he was going to hang up on me while in the middle of a sentence. Confused, I tried to call back thinking maybe we were disconnected but turned out the number was blocked. I then called from another number where he proceeded to tell me that if I didn’t stop blowing him up and waiting the allotted 3 hours for him to call back that he would not be processing my refund. Not cool, Danny… not cool.

The mesmerizing view of the mountains  never got old. The peaceful ambiance created the ideal atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The owner was amazing and did so many things for me and the other campers to ensure we were happy. Our time here was truly cherished, and we eagerly look forward to coming back in the future.  Thank you all for providing such a delightful experience!

Booked over phone with Lori on 6/24/23.   She took full payment of $938. Reservation for 8/28/23-9/5/23.    

I cancelled, or tried to cancel this reservation on July 14,23 with Bob directly at the RV park.  He said Lori would get back to me later that day.   It’s been a week.   I called and talked to Bob again, he was a bit dismissive and said it had to go through Campspot.  I did NOT book with Campspot, I booked over the phone with Lori.

I have now emailed Bob, Campspot 5 times.   I have sent several text messages to both Lori and Bob.  I have called several times.  NO ONE IS GETTING BACK TO ME.

I get being busy, short staffed etc, I’m in the restaurant business.    What this business is doing is rude to put it mildly, also unethical.   

I have read several other comments of a similar nature.  Very, very disappointing.

I’m contacting my bank tomorrow as well as the BBB.

We just stayed in a Tipi at Glacier Grizzly campground.  It was close to the East Glacier entrances to the Park.  We were able to go hiking and went on a boat tour at Lake Mc Donald.  The bathrooms were clean and the staff was helpful on things we could do at the Park and places to eat.

FALSE ADVERTISING CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD HAVE THEM ON YOUR WEBSITE

We have a toy hauler that is 42 feet with three slides and two decks so finding a park that can accommodate us can be challenging at times.

Glacier grizzly resort has some of the largest RV sites we have stayed in over the years, the park was quiet, beautiful surroundings and the facilities were clean.

Being i am self-employed i always need internet which can be challenging when staying at a RV park especially one that is a remote. This park has the Starling satellites so the internet was actually good, we could even live stream our shows at night.

The owner Danny and his staff were very polite and helpful and gave us local tips on some beautiful places to explore. 

We highly recommend this resort and look forward to staying here again.

Our party stayed in one of GLacier Grizzly Resort unfurnished tipis.  There were 5 of us. What an awesome experience. They even gave us an air bed to use.  The Bathrooms were close, clean, and had a private shower.

Do not stay here. The owner will not return your calls, emails, texts voicemails. He does this so he doesnt have to give you a refund and can just keep the money

Arrived at Glacier Grizzly about a week ago. Didn't realize they were so close to several Glacier Park entrances. We hiked at the Cut Bank creek entrance as well as 2 Medicine and Many Glacier.

Just stayed for 4 nights, we checked out on July 14th. We're long time RVrs and were surprised at the 50 feet wide RV sites. Full service. Hooked up our 50 amp but never used our air conditioning. We had our heater on at night.

The location of glacier grizzly campground is perfect for visiting st Mary or east glacier. 17 miles either way. The bonus is taking star school road in from browning. So much easier in the monster rigs. Great set up for them at this campground. It is new and still getting there. But hot showers. Super quiet nights and beautiful views and night skies. This place is a winner. I can’t wait to return once the landscaping is complete. Colin and Lori were most gracious hosts. And fly fishing at the creek right there. Awesome. Also they have teepees. Glamping at its best. Stay at the far end for wi-fi😉

The surrounding atmosphere is so breathtaking it almost feels like its straight out of a National Geographic documentary. I loved the fact that there was a river right next to where I stayed with the view of the mountains. Its a new campground...I noticed they were a little understaffed but the management was still able to accommodate my husband and I. If you're looking for something quiet and peaceful this is definitely a great campground to try. I also noticed their storefront is brand new and they're still stocking the shelves, but there is a local grocery store about 10 miles away in St Marys if you're looking to stock up on food. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and it was a perfect little getaway. Thank you guys, until next time!
