Booked with Glacier Grizzly about a month ago. However, two days later a site opened on the east side of the park that we were lucky enough to get. I have been trying for a month to get a refund with no success. I keep hearing I’ll get a refund, but it’s been over a month. I am starting to wonder if this business is legit, or if they are brand new and just have some serious customer service issues to work out…

This RV site is still under construction, I dont know why they don’t make that clear and make it seem that it’s almost done. There is nothing here yet but a mere construction site, but they try to charge you a lot!

Worst RV Site

This place is under full construction. Huge mud and gravel pit

 No 50 Amp service at all. Not as advertised. It's awful. Nothing like pictured on web site. Do not book this place it is awful. Open electrical on the ground, a burn pit and open sewer pits. Not ready for occupancy. Owner was rude and wouldn't give discount for lack of amenities and construction noise. No 50 Amp service on site at all which we paid for.

Yes it’s a new campground but it’s very close to all of the East Glacier attractions and it’s surrounded by Montana’s natural beauty. I stayed for 5 days and had an amazing time. I even got a chance to talk to the owner and he was extremely helpful. Also, he informed me on the rich history behind the land.  This place has a lot of history behind it. I feel like I can now say I have a great understanding of Blackfoot and Glacier Park history staying here.  I officially have checked off something that’s been on my bucket list for the longest time! Thank you guys!

This campground is in a great location. My husband loves that he can fish on site the bathroom/shower are clean and spacious. Very friendly and accommodating will come back, also full hook up and lots of space

It is new and under some construction but is very clean and peaceful 

The campground’s location is a 15/10. The owner came up to my husband and I, and went up to others around the park. We talked to him for 20 minutes or so. Really nice guy. He’s Blackfeet, the campground itself is on Blackfeet land and mainly has Blackfeet natives working there which I find really powerful.

The campground itself is brand new, seems like they are still working on the small details. Definitely not muddy, mainly gravel and some grass. I really can’t imagine building a campground when the working seasons are so short here, considering this campground is right next to Glacier. So I gotta say, the views, hospitality, and easy access to the park… worth it. We stayed in the passport travel trailer and it was clean, seems brand new, and really comfortable. We’re both super excited to come back and visit again. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We booked here for a week and only stayed 3 nights! It's basically just a big open construction pit. It could be nice in the future but I would not waste your money on this until later on when it's fully done. Theres only one available shower right now, no 50 amp even though it's advertised, no laundry facility even though it's advertised. The owner told us he would deliver us a picnic table and make us a fire pit by 10 am on the second day we were there and neither of those things ever happened. We had to go get our own picnic table from a big dirt pile and we had to build our own fire pit with rocks that were scattered around the construction site. Once again, I will say maybe in the future this place will be nice BUT I would not go right now as it is a Full blown construction site still. I should also add the construction noise is loud and annoying. The whole reason we went to Glacier was to enjoy the peace and quiet not construction noise. So we packed up and left and went camping elsewhere. 

False advertising 

Lori the manger was excellent.  Always available.  The R.V. site is brand new with a little construction going on.  Great location and spots have a lot of space.  No problems with any of the hookups with everything provided 

Amazing views and open space

We arrived to this brand new campground and stayed for a week at the tent site. We were a group of 11 and it was such an amazing experience! There was still some construction going on, and a few advertised details were not up and running, BUT it did not deter our group at all. There were 2 fully working bathrooms with showers, picnic tables, and a fire pit. The tent site was very open with soft dirt and grass, which was very comfortable for us, and gorgeous views of Glacier park! The nearest grocery store and gas station were about 15 minutes away. The east entrance to Glacier National Park was about a 15-20 minute drive! We will definitely be back here again in the future when it’s 100% completed, because I know it’s going to be PERFECT!

Brand New Campground!

Prior to coming here, I needed to change the dates. I had already paid for 3 days but needed to switch the days around I called, emailed, and texted. It took 8 attempts to get a response. That should have been my first clue. Do not stay here YET.  What they say they have and what they have is not the same.  We paid full price for a gravel spot with electricity, sewer, and water.  There was no camp host, no store, no transportation to Glacier. There was WIFI but no one was there to check us in so we were not told until the last day when we found a worker who was making the Tepee to ask what he knew about the place. I have texted, called, and emailed, and no response.  I am willing to pay for what I used for the time I was there, but not at full price.  I believe they will be able to charge these prices when they are done with the campground but not now.  There were 2 bathrooms only one had a showerhead on it. There was construction all day long with dirt movers.  When we got there, there was one tepee when we left there were 4. They really are working hard to make this place great but it just isn't there yet and until it is, we shouldn't have to pay prices like it is.  I will continue to reach out to the owners and my credit card company to dispute these charges. I don't usually do this but this was down right wrong.

Beware

Very clean facility, beautiful views, and easy access to Glacier Park. We enjoyed our stay. The best part is that it is owned and operated by a Blackfeet Indian!  Our stay was quite and peaceful.

The surrounding atmosphere is so breathtaking it almost feels like its straight out of a National Geographic documentary. I loved the fact that there was a river right next to where I stayed with the view of the mountains. Its a new campground...I noticed they were a little understaffed but the management was still able to accommodate my husband and I. If you're looking for something quiet and peaceful this is definitely a great campground to try. I also noticed their storefront is brand new and they're still stocking the shelves, but there is a local grocery store about 10 miles away in St Marys if you're looking to stock up on food. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and it was a perfect little getaway. Thank you guys, until next time!

Loved My Stay Here

The location of glacier grizzly campground is perfect for visiting st Mary or east glacier.  17 miles either way.  The bonus is taking star school road in from browning.  So much easier in the monster rigs. Great set up for them at this campground.  It is new and still getting there. But hot showers. Super quiet nights and beautiful views and night skies.  This place is a winner.  I can’t wait to return once the landscaping is complete.  Colin and Lori were most gracious hosts.  And fly fishing at the creek right there.  Awesome.   Also they have teepees.  Glamping at its best.  Stay at the far end for wi-fi😉

Great potential!

I have a difficult time leaving negative reviews on any business, but I felt this one is important enough to warn any would be campers what they are in store for if they decide to book.  My wife and I have traveled the country for the past few years and this campground is the absolute worst we have ever stayed.  Here is a list of what you can expect if you stay here:

*   There is no office to speak of.  There is a building, but it is completely empty.  No one to check you in, no one to show you where your site is.  
*   No office staff.  We wondered around aimlessly looking for site #8.  There are no site numbers.  We finally ran into  a few of the workers at the camp and were told to basically find a site we liked and set up.  
*   The sites are large with full hook-ups but only 30 amp service, not the advertised 50.  
*   The wifi doesn't connect.   The antenna (which is located in the bath house) would never connect to the internet. (see Pic)
*   The entire campground is dirt and gravel.  No shade, no plants and really dusty.  
*   Each site was advertised with having picnic table and fire pit.  Neither of these existed on most sites.  We asked to have a table brought to our site and was assured it would be brought over shortly.  **One day later,** we found a table at an empty site and carried it over ourselves.  Fire pits are evidently dug when you request one….we didn't bother.
*   The bear proof trash containers were completely over flowing during our stay.  If I were a bear this is the place I would hang out.  (see pic)
*   Since there was no office staff to speak of, my wife and I became the camp greeters.  When we were outside of our rig, we would watch campers drive into the camp, look for the office and office staff. They would then drive around (like we did) see us outside and ask us if there was anyone to help them.  WE would then tell them to pick any spot they'd like and set up.  We did this several times during our stay.  I really think that you could just pull in, set up, stay for a week and nobody would question it.
*   My wife and I both realize that this campground has major potential, but it is not ready for paying customers…..and we paid quite a bit!  Hoping for some type of refund but very doubtful that will ever happen.  We have tried contacting the owners who were very helpful when we first reserved our spot, but after several attempts (phone call and texting) no return calls.

DON'T!!!

Just stayed for 4 nights, we checked out on July 14th. We're long time RVrs and were surprised at the 50 feet wide RV sites. Full service. Hooked up our 50 amp but never used our air conditioning. We had our heater on at night.

Class A RV 

Arrived at Glacier Grizzly about a week ago. Didn't realize they were so close to several Glacier Park entrances. We hiked at the Cut Bank creek entrance as well as 2 Medicine and Many Glacier.

Convenient Location 

Do not stay here. The owner will not return your calls, emails, texts voicemails. He does this so he doesnt have to give you a refund and can just keep the money

Owner will rip you off 

Our party stayed in one of GLacier Grizzly Resort unfurnished tipis.  There were 5 of us. What an awesome experience. They even gave us an air bed to use.  The Bathrooms were close, clean, and had a private shower.

Staff was helpful 

We have a toy hauler that is 42 feet with three slides and two decks so finding a park that can accommodate us can be challenging at times.

  

Glacier grizzly resort has some of the largest RV sites we have stayed in over the years, the park was quiet, beautiful surroundings and the facilities were clean.

  

Being i am self-employed i always need internet which can be challenging when staying at a RV park especially one that is a remote. This park has the Starling satellites so the internet was actually good, we could even live stream our shows at night.

  

The owner Danny and his staff were very polite and helpful and gave us local tips on some beautiful places to explore. 

  

We highly recommend this resort and look forward to staying here again.

FALSE ADVERTISING CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD HAVE THEM ON YOUR WEBSITE

The worst park we've been to!! False advertisement no 50 Amp no anything...

We just stayed in a Tipi at Glacier Grizzly campground.  It was close to the East Glacier entrances to the Park.  We were able to go hiking and went on a boat tour at Lake Mc Donald.  The bathrooms were clean and the staff was helpful on things we could do at the Park and places to eat.

2 Happy Campers

Booked over phone with Lori on 6/24/23.   She took full payment of $938. Reservation for 8/28/23-9/5/23.    

  

I cancelled, or tried to cancel this reservation on July 14,23 with Bob directly at the RV park.  He said Lori would get back to me later that day.   It’s been a week.   I called and talked to Bob again, he was a bit dismissive and said it had to go through Campspot.  I did NOT book with Campspot, I booked over the phone with Lori.

  

I have now emailed Bob, Campspot 5 times.   I have sent several text messages to both Lori and Bob.  I have called several times.  NO ONE IS GETTING BACK TO ME.

  

I get being busy, short staffed etc, I’m in the restaurant business.    What this business is doing is rude to put it mildly, also unethical.   

  

I have read several other comments of a similar nature.  Very, very disappointing.

  

I’m contacting my bank tomorrow as well as the BBB.

BEWARE OF THIS RV PARK!!

The mesmerizing view of the mountains  never got old. The peaceful ambiance created the ideal atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The owner was amazing and did so many things for me and the other campers to ensure we were happy. Our time here was truly cherished, and we eagerly look forward to coming back in the future.  Thank you all for providing such a delightful experience!

Incredible views  

I had a family trip planned out for May.. responsibly called and cancelled my reservation due to activated military needs. After 3 emails and multiple phone calls it has been nearly 2 months. Calling the resort, the manager, Danny decided that he was going to hang up on me while in the middle of a sentence. Confused, I tried to call back thinking maybe we were disconnected but turned out the number was blocked. I then called from another number where he proceeded to tell me that if I didn’t stop blowing him up and waiting the allotted 3 hours for him to call back that he would not be processing my refund. Not cool, Danny… not cool.

Terrible management

Homely Hospitality Service

Glacier Grizzly Resort is a little slice of heaven on earth! I felt like I stepped into a fairy tale with the stunning alpine views and pristine nature all around. The activities were so much fun, from kayaking on the crystal-clear lakes to watching the mesmerizing northern lights at night. The staff's enthusiasm and dedication made the experience even more memorable. This place has my heart!

Not at all what owner Daniel promised us when we booked in February of 2023. 

The Good: Convenient place to park with a pretty view near the east entrance of Glacier National Park. 

The Bad: As of the end of July 2023, it's under construction (although no work was done the entire time stayed 6-days). It's a dirty, gravel, dust-bowl parking lot. No shade- ZERO. Couldn't use our awning because it was constantly windy. Could only use 1 AC unit because we saw no evidence of 50 amp, only 30 amp electric, despite what employee confirmed on telephone (prior to our arrival) and what's listed on the website booking page. Filthy, fly-infested, nearly unusable bathroom/showers. Construction materials scattered all over. Overflowing garbage dumpsters that said Do Not Use, the entire time of our stay. A little dead grass &amp; weeds, but generally speaking this is a gravel parking lot. As others have said, the sewer pipes are 6-8" above grade and many flow uphill from where the camper sits, making the flow challenging. We disputed the premium rate we were charged in February and Daniel agreed to a credit. That was two weeks ago with no credit applied. We have since filed a dispute with our credit card company. We camped at Glacier Grizzly Resort- RV, Tent Site&amp; Tipi in a Fifth Wheel.

Buyer Beware

We stayed last week for three days in our 5th wheel. The site was large and the hookups were good. The surrounding views were nice and the fishing in the creek on the park property was excellent. We were told that they are doing more improvements, we will.be back next year.

Nice campground, large rv sites great fishing

We paid more than $100 per night for 3 nights. We booked based on fraudulent images and information before open. We turned around and left as soon as we arrived. At the end of the season, it is still just a dusty gravel lot with no amenities. There is a partially constructed building and a derelict trailer. These people are criminals and of course will try to keep our money. Do not give them yours!

Horrible

We stayed here in August in an RV+tent site and loved the location! Close to the Park, restaurants and all that's going on the East side! Our only negative is that their bathrooms get really busy, with having  extra large hot water showers. They were really clean and new.

Close to Park 

We stayed in a 39 foot Class A motorhome. We only stayed one night on our way to the West Side. Staff are very nice and helpful. Entry and exit is easy. We didn't use any amenities as we were there for only one night.

Easy Access

The employees are friendly and helpful. Campground was brand new and not over crowded, like most RV sites in Glacier. The kids had fun fishing on the river at the campground and even caught 2 fish.

Stayed for a few days in July. Had easy access entrance to the campground. Self check in was great as we came in late night and the staff was nice.  We were in a pull through site.

We camped at Glacier Grizzly campground in our Class C Motorhome. We read reviews that they don’t have 50 amp sites. They did. The campground was at a Great location close to the East entrances.

50 amp sites 

We stayed for a quick overnight between Glacier. The campground is in a perfect place and once the construction is done it will be great! We were in a 39' MH and the hookups were solid, internet was awesome. Nice flat ground and appeared very family friendly. All the amenities aren’t quite in place but i think given time it will be a very nice Park.

Great place

Beware! The people running this business are con artists, liars with no ethics and no morals. I booked for a Glamp Tipi for 1 night for an overpriced $440. The evening of the reservation, they texted me and said that their "power is out" on all the furnished tipis and told me they have an RV instead. I said I did not want an RV because we already have one but really just wanted the tipi experience. Lori told me that she could only offer me what they have or we could just cancel. I said I will just cancel then if they can't provide what I booked for and then asked her if I will receive my refund within a few days. She said "yeah definitely". 3 week later, I noticed I still have not received my refund. I left her a few text messages, it shows that she read them but she did not respond. I called their toll-free number and Daniel answered. I explained to him what happened. He said that Lori no longer works there anymore and she probably didn't respond because she doesn't care. He said he will take down my name and number and check the system and call me back tomorrow morning. He never did. The next day, I called him back several times throughout day and he never answered the phone. This is such shady business practice. At this point, I got really worried that I'm a victim of fraud and that they have stolen my money and hiding now. I started to look up the online reviews and noticed all the negative reviews were similar stories to mine. I texted Lori again confronting her and she finally replied "I'll check back with the cancellation department and let you know when I hear about your refund." Obviously she is lying because Daniel just told me she no longer works there! And of course she never did check and never ever got back to me, even when I texted her multiple times to follow up after that day. How can they think that they can just steal innocent people's money and run off and get away with it?! I called my credit card company to dispute the charges because this business refuses to cooperate and refund me for a service that they could not provide. I called them a hundred times and through other avenues and they clearly are avoiding me. I know there are many others like me who have been scammed by them. We should all band together and take legal class action lawsuit because what they are doing is wrong and so that they don't keep doing this to more people! I found so many fake reviews they did for themselves to offset the ton of negative reviews they receive. There are obvious telltale signs that the positive reviews are so fake. They are a huge disgrace to the genuine Blackfeet Tribe community.

Liars Thieves

Great Location On the East Side. Was easy to get to Many Glacier, Two Medicine East Glacier entrances. The staff was helpful and had plenty of tips on how to get in the Park and told us about tours we could to take. We stayed 6 nights in our Motorhome.

Great Location 

Wrecked enroute to campground a week before our reserved stay. Tried to cancel and was told by owner he would have to call back with cancellation number. He never called and refused to answer phone or emails.

  

He has since told me he will not honor refund policy on his website. 

  

Do yourself a favor and spare yourself headaches and dealing with your credit card companies to report a fraudulent merchant!

  

Stay away! Also have heard reports that photos on his site are BOGUS!

What a great stay and beautiful mountain views. My wife loved this place. It was nice and peaceful. The facilities were clean and we used the laundry services for the kids clothes. Had a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Laundry Services 

We have stayed for a few nights over the 4th of July, 2023 at this place to visit Glacier National Park. The only good about this place is that the campground(not a resort by far) is relatively close to the East side entrance of the park(~20 miles). There are really not many choices to camp on the East side of the Glacier National Park, but I strongly recommend KOA St. Mary's over Glacier Grizzly campground if you are able to find availability at KOA. The pictures on Glacier Grizzly's website do keep changing constantly and most of the pictures are taken of some other places and not theirs. I am attaching few pictures of what it is really over there. The place is all gravel with water, sewer and electric hookups. They used to advertise 50amp hookups(they have stopped doing so since), but there were only 30amp hookups available at the time of our stay and I really doubt anything changed since. The sites are indeed fairly spacious, though fire pits are simply hole dugouts in the gravel. There was only one, recently built shower house available for the whole campground(2 showers and 2 toilets), but upkeep of it was lacking- no toilet paper, no hand soap, no way to dry your hands after using a restroom, nobody cleaned shower house during our entire stay! As an icing on the cake, one of the toilets got clogged and nobody had bothered taking care of it for a few days. Furthermore, there were only a couple locations for a garbage disposal that were overflowing with garbage. For around$130/night, we have definitely expected more. All the negative reviews are fairly accurate about the campground and the service(or lack of the service) provided.
