Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. I also have boat slips available to rent for $20 a night. The resort is next to Empire Park which has lots of fishing spots, a playground, a disc golf course, and walking trails. The resort is 16 miles from The Branson Landing. You can get there by car or boat.
Ask me about adding a boat slip to your reservation or about getting a discount for a long-term stay. I offer a 25% discount for stays of a month or more.
Here is the link for boat rentals at the resort: https://www.boatsetter.com/users/wjplgnl
*Lake Taneycomo will look different based on the seasons, weather, and the flow of water in the lake. It is common to see a large amount of duckweed in the lake, especially in the coves, during periods of high heat. It isn't attractive, but it is harmless. The maintenance crew at the resort constantly works to keep the coves looking as nice as possible, but it is a natural body of water, so there's only so much that can be done.*

We had a good visit here. Basic but did the trick and the owner was really friendly and helpful.
I have not really been able to use it just checking it out
This is our 5-6 year to stay here. Over the years, we have seen so many b improvements to this area.. it’s always a great time. Michael, the host, is just an all around great guy. We are looking forward to our next stay
Very small park. Restaurant and store are Nextdoor. Spots are large. We were the only campers in the park.
We have stayed with them twice. Spots are strategically placed and surrounded by woods. The owner is very kind and informative guiding you to your spot and helping you park. He will also give his favorite local recommendations for restaurants and attractions. He’s a veteran. Never had any issues with anything.
Super friendly people, very accommodating. They offered to help us hookup when we arrived, so sweet, and specially since we are new to this. Gave us advice about where to eat around town. The site was nice and shady. The bath house was excellent - very nice showers and bathrooms, very clean, very private. Such a family feel. Very good value for the price! Thanks for an excellent stay. Would stay here again if we ever return to the area.
Very nice and accommodating owners. Great location with a country feel!
Perfect location in Branson! Nice park, well marked and easy to get into and out of, friendly and very accommodating management. Nice shady space and all hookups work as they should. We had great neighbors and really enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to stay again next time we're in Branson!
Old Highway 86 Campground is situated on a picturesque peninsula on Table Rock Lake, offering stunning morning views. The park is family-friendly, quiet, and meticulously maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay for all visitors. It features a great swimming area that is both safe and enjoyable. The serene environment and cleanliness make it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.
The park itself is beautiful. Sites are large. Close to everything Branson has to offer.
We stay at Blue Heron 3-4 times a year and love it! Excellent concrete pads with easy back-in markings for RVs. Great cement patio so there is no mud in case of rain. Each site has its own fire pit and 2 chairs. All the sites are great, but the river sites provide a nice cool breeze off the water!
Even though their website says they have tent camping they DO NOT
We have always loved coming to the Silver Dollar City campgrounds. We have been doing this for over 10 years now. We usually stay in the cabins, and this is our first year taking our fifth wheel. I was worried about the height, clearance and trees since our RV is is over 13 ft tall and 45 ft long. The trees were well trimmed and I had no problem getting into our pull-through spot all the way in the back. The people here are always friendly and helpful. We love the quiet woods atmosphere. Great little playgrounds for the kids and the pool. The pull-through spot was a little uneven but not as bad as it looks. It would be nice if they were paved. It usually rains this time of year (May) and the unpaved spots can get a little messy in the rain. The pull-through spots are alternating so you are facing your neighbor's door and not their sewage. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. We always come here for the Bluegrass Festival at Silver Dollar City. The park is great and worth the season pass if you plan to go more than one day.
We didn't stay for long only a few days. But we have visited years ago and enjoyed the park.
We came back a little over a year ago and drove right back out. Recently were told it had been purchased and the new owners were cleaning the place out so we decided to give it a shot with the family for a short visit to decide if we'd come back for a longer visit later.
We had a great time! The place has been fully overhauled.
They are still doing some odds and ends but it wasn't bothersome.
The new manager is fantastic. she was so nice and is constantly running around planting and making sure everyone is doing well.
There's a hand full of long term guests that remained and we were told that the new owners really cleaned out all of the problem guests making it such an enjoyable place for them that they want to do cook outs with the guests and meet new friends again.
They are really working hard on making this place a great place for families to to come and have a good time and the guests are really appreciating all they are doing.
Everyone we talked with was so happy to sit and chat and just get to know each other around the community fire pit.
So happy to not have to go back to the state park now that this place is on track to being the great place it once was.
Love the location and quiet comfort of this park. It's close enough to all of the action but feels like you are light years away.
It's a perfect campground to have a fun family camp trip and enjoy the sights of Branson. The owners are also wonderful!
Definitely a great place to visit!
Was visiting my dad who stays in the park recently as a long term guest and have to say that they have done a lot the last few months under new management.
My dad's neighbors were not the nicest people and they had two large dogs they allowed to crap everywhere and would never clean up their area.
There were multiple complaints about the problem to the previous owners and nothing was done.
The new owners came in, in December and quickly cleared out the problem guests made everyone clean everything up and made the place back to its former glory.
They have also made it a point to personally know my elderly father and keep an eye on him for us so we know he is safe and being looked after while he enjoys the park with his dog.
They have made sure that the spaces are clean. Got rid of the unsafe guests who decided to take the place over and have made it a safe beautiful spot to stay once again!
So thankful they purchased the park and made it a safe and wonderful spot for the family to visit and a wonderful spot for my dad to enjoy his time.
Can't thank them enough!
We have been coming to this park for years. We did not stay here last couple of years due to the amount of Longterm campers that had trashed the place. The new Owners have really cleaned up the park and gotten rid of so many of the problems that were bringing this once loved park down.
They have since cleaned up the park, gotten rid of the long term campers who were not friendly and were frankly scary. They've implemented security and rules and hired a fantastic manager.
They have brought in new facility, renovated the office and community room and are adding new pads. Added a new community fire pit and bbq area and have cook outs with the guests on weekends. The handful of long term guests who have stayed are extremely friendly and love the changes that have happened.
That is ultimately why we decided to give it another try and we are so glad we did!
So happy to have this once amazing park coming back to life.
We thought we would change up from always going to Table Rock State Park. Boy were we wrong!!!!!! The RV lots are gravel/grass- no WIFI or cable. Most of the RV'ers are full timers, and they have the attitude that it's their park. And, if you encounter an incident with one of them- they all turn against your presents. Gray haired adolescence is what my wife calls them. Most sites have some tree cover but walnut trees will totally sap up your RV, not to mention the nuts when they fall. I would only recommend this place if your wallet is very tight. Table Rock Park is hands down better then this out dated and unfriendly rude group of full time campers.
We can here in October stayed until April and got to some great people very friendly .pet friendly nice dog run.under new manger . under new owners the place is looking better .we really enjoyed the stay here will be back in October close to town .I can just say this is the only campgrounds we would stay at .if you want to meet friendly people and have a great time come to hide a way campground.
The campground is definitely going through a shift. With new management, you can tell that there is care and attention to detail being put in place to make this even better than it was before! I can’t wait to come back with friends and family to visit as the weather gets warmer!
Park is definitely going through a revamp after the last few years under the old owners.
The new managers have cleaned up the park and made it a great place to hang out and meet new friends. We had a wonderful stay and met some great people we plan to reconnect with in the fall back at the park.
Can’t wait to see what they do with the place by then!
Crowded spots, though great facilities and prices. Much preferred the indian point campground over by SDC
Everything you need from a campground for a fair price. $23 electric site per nite. Fire pits, nice place to watch the sunset, just don't speed on the road between SDC and Indian Pt CG.... cops all over the place!
Stayed here for 4 nights during a visit with family. Park is clean. Staff is friendly. They make fresh pizza at the convenience store/office and will deliver it to your site. We were there 3 weeks before the pool opens so we didn't get a chance to see that. Nice park that's close to 1-44, James River Parkway, and unfortunately a railroad crossing. So you will hear a train horn on occasion, but no highway noise. We will come back here and stay again.
Beautiful park. Fantastic scenery with large spaces. Would give it 5 stars if it had full hookups. Wildlife is everywhere. Eagles, hawks, fishing and more.
Cricket Creek is a quiet campground with sufficient spacing between sites. Visited June 2023
We enjoy visiting Branson off-season and our time at this campground made it even better! Our site had unobstructed views of the lake and was easy to level. The shower house was a bit far but right across the street was a compost toilet shed that was convenient and kept very clean. Working remotely was no issue as cell service was good. Will love to go back to that same site again, so peaceful!
