    Pathetic management.

Nice location if it weren't for the truck noise, subwoofer bandits and susceptibility to flooding.   The management is non-existent except for when it's time to be stupid.

They have some very obnoxious full-time RVs there who  who prey on short-term visitors with obnoxious motorcycle behavior.  Avoid the fire pit circle... Loud drunk and incredibly obnoxious people.

    Halloween fun

We stayed the weekend before Halloween and it was a very busy weekend in the campground. Some sites were extravagantly decorated and trick or treating following a golf cart parade was fun. The park is nice. The only reason I did give 5 stars is because the boardwalks over the lake were in desperate need of repair and unsafe.

Great staff new RV park beautifully done.

We stayed here after picking up our new 5th wheel from Dad's Camper outlet. Not even a mile away. I hope this is allowed, Cat Trent and Ricky were great with getting our new 5th wheel ready for us. Check them out for any RV needs. The staff was very nice. The campground was very nice. It is only 4 months old. All the amenities you need and expect from a KOA. The only difference is that it's new and not run down. Pull through sites are level and concrete. As you can see from my pics, it was raining quite hard.

    Nice, relaxing, quiet rv park

Me and my husband wanted a nice little getaway from the house so we decided to try out Clear water. It’s a very nice and relaxing rv park. I told my hubby it’s a retirement home but for campers 😅 a lot of snow birds from Michigan! We had a great time especially loved the fire ring we had on our lot which was great to have during the cold weather. Most of the other campgrounds I’ve been to haven’t had any kind of fire rings. The man that runs it takes very good care of the campground and when you buy firewood he actually bring it to you at your lot which was really great! They had a beautiful lit up pond with a fountain and water wheel at night. We had our two daughters with us which they loved going on a walk around the park and looking at the ducks. Just about everyone is friendly there. I’m going to go ahead and give it 5 stars but I wish there would have been a playground in the campground, but I understand they typically have snowbirds and not a lot of young couples with kids. But it was still nice and we really enjoyed it! They had a park down the road so we decided to just drive and take the girls to it. There is also a family dollar/dollar tree and a dollar general down the road which was about less then 4-5 mins away which was great and very convenient.

    Great campground

Stopped here for 1 night between Lake Charles and Tallahassee. Great half way stop.  Federal National Seashore campground. Make reservations on recreation.gov.  Very nice campground hosts pulled up in their golf cart while they were making rounds around the campground and checked us in.  Clean, level parking. I was in spot 1 which was well shaded. Stores within 5-10 minute drive. Will definitely stay here again.

    Nice lake soso park

Ok so I just tent camped here this past weekend in June. When I got to my campsite there was still trash everywhere. Mainly charcoal coals dumped next to the picnic table loaded with cigarettes. There was no fire ring so you could basically start a fire anywhere which I thought was strange. My neighbors were fine but there are no rules on what people can do. Trucks with boat trails were all over the place and most halfway on the road. I was fine driving around but I couldn’t imagine pulling a trailer through it. No camp store so that was a bummer. The registration office was so old and smelly I didn’t want to be in there. Not that there was much to it. The bathrooms were ok. Not dirty but old and hot. What I did like was the night sky. I saw lots of stars. Riding my bike around. Lots of roads for cruising. If you have a boat air Jets skis you would like this better. It just wasn’t for me.

    Disc Golf Destination

This park is just a little off the beaten path in Lumberton Mississippi. Located about 20 minutes off of interstate 59 and situated on a great fishing lake. The park boasts 2 championship level Disc Golf courses and hosts Big Rip Classic Disc golf Tournament each October. Great fishing, kayaking, swimming, and hiking. Well shaded campsites with plenty of bath houses.

Beautiful, peaceful lake. We were only there for one night passing thru. Only saw people fishing on the lake so I don’t know if they allow any other water activities. We never used the (or even saw) the bathhouse so I can’t report on that. This is an older park. It could use a little TLC but over all you can tell it’s pretty well kept as far as maintenance goes. Grass is maintained and everything looks very neat and cared for. We had a beautiful lakefront spot and look forward to coming back for a longer visit.

    Excellent location

This was a really great campground! The location to Ocean Springs and Biloxi is perfect. You get real campsites instead of an RV parking lot.

The campground has recently been repaved: the sites are nice and level. The bathhouse was clean. Showers are separate from the toilets. They had multiple Ranger led evens scheduled every day! The visitors center is nice as well. The rangers really seemed to enjoy talking with us and answering our questions about local wildlife. Sadly, we didn’t see any gators while we were visiting.

Also, the boardwalk trail is still damaged and closed. I hope they get the funding to be able to get this back open again soon.

Overall, we had a great experience and plan to return again in the fall.

    Beautiful setting on the lake.

Some sites are level & others not so much but not bad. Some areas of the park have recently been upgraded while others are def’ly do for renovation. Ask before reserving if this matters to you.

    Beautiful views, quiet, no wifi

We reserved a spot on the lake with a sideways site so the side windows faced the water. Very pretty sunset views. No other RV’s anywhere near us. (It was a Sunday evening). This campground has no Wifi. Cell service was 1 to 2 bars, hotspot worked sometimes. The check-in staff didn’t give us a map so recommended screenshotting the one on their website. We were only there for the night but it was the prettiest and most relaxing site of our 4000 mile trip.

    Clean and beautiful camp ground

I did my first overnight camp to test out my gear and setup on my own. Hwy 49, the main road leading to the State Park is under construction, but I was still able to enter the park without issues. On the day I went you had to use the honor system and paid $17.00 for primitive tent camping. As I rode through the park, I took note of how clean it was and had restrooms sprinkled about along with dumpsters. I explored the primitive area before deciding on a spot. I picked a spot that had a clear view of the lake to take advantage of the wind coming off the lake. I cooked up dinner and collected some wood laying on the ground and made a campfire, in the fire ring that was made by the Boy Scouts, it was marked with their troop number. After the fire died down, I went inside the tent to dose off. I was awoken to some banging noise and men talking. I assumed that they were setting up their camp a few spots from me. They finally calmed down and I went back to sleep. In the morning I tore down camp and packed it up on my bike but before riding off I went to see what the deal was with the banging last night, to find that the men were actually striping wire and left a huge mess. On the way out I spotted a grounds worker and told them about the incident. It must have been a big deal, because I saw 3 Law enforcement vehicles headed that way on the way out of the park.

Best place to stay for relaxation and exploration

This is a great base camp for exploring the national park and nearby Ocean Springs. I loved walking the area and it’s fun to bike to nearby Ocean Springs. If you enjoy biking then you will have to stop by TriHard sports in Ocean Springs. I found them to be so nice and helpful. There are several locally owned restaurants to enjoy also. Sites are close together but not on top of each other and fairly level.

    Inexpensive and good first stop

This was our first stop on a 3+ month winter escape We were here 1/23/22 - 1/27/22. Great rate of $11/ night with the senior pass and included water and electric Very clean restrooms and individual shower rooms with locking doors. Good heat and pressure. A bit noisy here with neighborhood barking dogs, and trains and basically inside a residential area Another reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the lack of recycling Check out Biloxi and Ocean Springs beaches and the Craft Advisory brewery
Cute downtown. Can’t remember how our cell service was at this location Best site would be #38 IMO We made reservations here in 10/21 for this time and campground was full with people constantly coming and going

Right off I-10, this park is convenient to thru travelers looking for a quick overnight. Not horribly expensive. Full hook ups, clean level site. Easy in and out. Bathrooms dated but super clean. Many long-term campers here but no problem, everyone was cool. Would definitely stay here again.
