Nice campground

We stayed at spot twenty. As mentioned in another review, the terrain is uneven but the pads are level asphalt. It is a busy campground but it is still quiet. There a few bathhouses and one has laundry machines. The rest rooms are clean every morning and are well taken care of ( some of the…

Beautiful nature, loud bugs at night

Very friendly staff. Beautiful camp site in deep forest with a gorgeous lake next to it. One heads up; it gets very loud at night in terms of the bugs! They're quite active there. Bring mosquito spray for sure.

Cutest little park

I picked this park as a stopover on our way to Georgia based on online pictures. We really loved it. The lake is beautiful and the surroundings make you feel like you’re much deeper in the woods than you are. The sites are a good size but some are quite angled and have a drop off from the pad. The…

Convenient Location/Great Staff

We stayed in site 4 as a one night pull through for our class A. We typically don’t unhook our Jeep tow for one night, but so glad we did here! The staff told us about a great restaurant to check out just a few minutes away in the downtown area, Weidmann’s. It was delicious! Apparently it’s the…

Very Nice Campground

We stopped here on the way to the coast. It was a very nice campground with a small lake, lots of playground equipment, and hiking trails. Pads were level and shower houses were clean. We really enjoyed our stay on sites #17 & #38 going and returning.

Campground could use some upgrade

The lake is beautiful. Some of the campsites looked like long term sites with a lot of junk around them. This would be a great place to pull an inter tube with a boat. Looked a little sad. It was quiet though.

A Hidden Gem

Great little lake with a beautiful view. Our Verizon Phone picked up well. Loved the hiking trails around the lake. Well maintained. We stayed on site 31, a pullthrough. Two fire pits and a very large area to play areound the camper. Not a lot of campers in the off season. Will definitely be back…

Nice small park, friendly staff and several trails to hike, some not on the

The campground is showing its age a bit, but is still nice and well maintained. We were in site 37 for 5 days, which was right across the road from one of the few street lights. The oneway campground loop is narrow, and a little tight in places for bigger rigs, but not too bad. Most of the sites in…

Total hidden gem and must stay

We planned on a 2 to 3 nights and stayed 5 … :).  We were at another local site and was looking for a more quite type of place so we could spend time as a family, so I called over to this place and was overwhelmed by the welcome.  It was late and dark and both owners (Steve and Patty) took my wife…

Lovely Campground in the Woods

We stopped here for the night and were impressed by the beauty and cleanliness of this campground.  The restrooms are spotless! It has a large pool and the campsites are nestled in amongst the trees.  The owners are super friendly.  This is a great stay in a lovely area.  We will be back for sure!

Meeting Quarantina, our gently used Flying Cloud 23

We met our camper (and her prior owner) here at ClarkCo State Park. A perfect place to be introduced to her, complete our purchase and get oriented to our new (to us) camper. Lake side, lots of tree coverage has helped the August 95degree MS temps. Friendly neighboring campers, lots of kids…

Clean and friendly

Home of the longest water slide in Mississippi, this KOA is a great place to stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and the facilities are clean and updated. Camp sites are relatively spread out, especially the sites for smaller campers and tents. Great place for kids, with the pool, slide, game…

So many good memories here

Haven’t been to Clarkco in years, but we used to have our family reunion here every year in October. The cabins were large and pretty nice. Always had lots and lots of fun here.

Hope your into waterfalls

If your looking for a really cool waterfall to go checkout this is your spot. Other than that I wouldn’t recommend camping there any longer than one or two nights at the most. (The water wheel does not work FYI) We will continue to stop by in passing but that’s about it. We also went at a bad time…
