St Croix River Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Situated along the St. Croix River corridor near Hinckley, Minnesota, St. Croix River Resort runs from May 1 through October 20 and accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. The forested setting gives most sites solid shade cover, and the wide internal roads make maneuvering larger rigs straightforward, something reviewers specifically call out as a practical advantage.

Water access is a consistent theme across reviews. When river levels allow, tubing is possible directly from the resort, and St Croix Haven Campground sits immediately adjacent for campers who want a comparison or a backup option. On-site amenities include an indoor pool, a volleyball net, and a playground, which makes the resort a reasonable fit for families traveling with kids. Sites drain well, even after heavy rain, according to one reviewer who tested that firsthand during a summer storm.

The restrooms and showers stand out. Dave T. notes he "can't stress enough how CLEAN the restrooms and showers are," with staff cleaning them multiple times daily. Wi-Fi is available but inconsistent; signal improves closer to the main building and drops off at sites farther out. Nightly rates range from $65 to $999, reflecting a wide spread across site types. Pets are welcome, and reservations are available. Campers wanting dispersed or lower-cost alternatives nearby can look at Grace Lake Road Dispersed roughly a mile to the northwest.

Nice and Quiet

We stayed here with my extended family in a couple of cabins. It is nice and wooded. The pool is indoors which is nice and has drawbacks. It is a good sized pool. There is a nice playground for the kids and there are some nice trails. You are able to go tubing down the river when the water is low enough. I would stay here again!
