Small but clean

This place is off the beaten path for sure. It’s more of a trail than a road for the last part and I was riding my Victory Motorcycle. 4 wheels is advised or a dirt bike. Ha

It is surrounded by trees so I would imagine bug spray would be a must have.

I didn’t see a bathroom if any kind so it’s you and nature if you don’t bring your own.

If you don’t know the others camping there you will because it’s close quarters.

The other reviewers photos pretty much show the whole thing. No scenic views of the river, just trees.

Knob Hill Campground along the river

This is on the Crowe Wing River, and while I believe you can access it by car, we canoed to the site down the Crowe Wing River. It is very unique and pretty! There is an upper level campground (for car camping and there is water here too for drinking) and a lower campground (for the canoe campers). The lower has a view of the river and it a little further from the bathrooms, but much prettier. All have fire rings. There is a staircase that connects the two. Would love to stay here sometime! We just stopped for a bite to eat before heading down the river further.
