About

Welcome to Tiki RV Park & Campground, a cozy spot perfect for your next adventure. The campground is open from May 15 to October, giving you a solid window to enjoy the great outdoors. The sites are generally wooded, providing a nice bit of shade and a touch of privacy. Nice small campground

Stayed for a week using Tiki as home base while we visited local attractions. We had a full hookup site. Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean. T-Mobile internet connected.

Confusing check-in

This RV park has a self-check in. I made reservations 6 days prior to check in. When checking the folder which my name would have been in, it was not there. Some one did find it though miss filled. The site was barely long enough for my 39' 5th wheel. Sites are very close to each other. I don't plan on returning.

Great Location

This is a pretty decent campground. It met our needs for a day trip to Mackinac Island. It’s within biking distance to the Shepler’s Ferry dock which is super nice of you’re planning to take bikes along. Most of the sites are partially shaded and fairly spacious. We stayed in site 32 which worked out perfectly for our 36’ trailer. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.

Basic camping close to everything

If you want a simple base camp to go out and explore st ignace, mackinaw island, and other parts of the U.P then this is a good option for you. It doesn’t have much to offer other then a campsite, bathrooms, and showers but that’s all we needed since we came back at 10-11pm every night. The front office doesn’t seem the most organized as our reservations were not in the self check in and we had to call the emergency after hour line to confirm we could go to our spot. Our spot was also pretty hidden so with no map (because it wasn’t in self check in folder) it was hard to find our site

Good Location

This campground is a good location to activities within St. Ignace.  The person in the site next to us was in Site 5.  But, good luck trying to find it on the map.  The sites are tight in this campground but with our teardrop we had no problem.

We never got connected to the Wi-Fi in the site we were in.

The bathroom/shower building is okay but seems to have been built decades ago without any updates.  It seems like some money should be spent on facilities upgrades at some point.

The staff were very nice.

Coin toss experience

Rustic campground on a steep hill overlooking Lake Huron. Website makes promises campground doesn't deliver. We reserved 50 amp full hook up. We were charged an additional $15 to guarantee our site. We arrived today to find a tight sloping site with only 30 amp service for our 34 ft motorhome. Upon calling the office, the very young woman who answered, first of all, could not locate our reservation even though a packet and map were waiting outside for us. Second, she asks which site, fumbles around, and finally declares "well some sites are 50 amp and some are only 30 amp. Can you spell your name again for me?" This location is close to everything in this nice town, so if you come here to stay you will be paying premium site pricing and spinning the wheel of chance as to whether it will be electric only, electric and water, 30 amp full hookups or 50 amp full hookups, because the website says one thing and reality on site is altogether different.

The yurt is worth the splurge!

We decided to splurge on a yurt for our first camping trip of the summer. Well worth it! We stayed in"Kai" one of the newest yurts. It's at the end of what we came to call"the yurt village". Complete with electricity, indoor and outdoor string lights, two deck chairs, a heater, a queen sized bed, and an electric kettle with pour over coffee supplies, it was truly a treat! The bathroom and shower building is about.1 miles each way according to my fitness tracker, but it's doable. Downside: the firepit is small(about the size of a small charcoal grill) and shallow, so it's not really suitable for cooking. Bring a propane stove or some no-cook foods, or go enjoy some of the area restaurants! The site is still a diamond in the rough with cut downed wood and sawdust scattered about, and the ground is uneven. With time, though, it will probably turn out beautifully! We were there for three weeknights and rarely even heard other campers. A quiet and peaceful retreat.

Quiet retreet

Located up on a hill and there are some spots that overlook the lake and Mackinaw Island.

Close to town. Very clean and friendly staff. Sites are level and you have everything from rustic to full hookup. Wifi is available also.

Laundry room is clean as well as the showers.

Shaded and full sun sites. Nice breeze coming in off the lake.

Minutes from the bridge and castle rock
