Great campground on Lake Huron

Certainly! Here’s a review for the campground:

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campground next to Lake Huron, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful lake views and easy beach access that made our stay truly memorable. The rates were very reasonable, providing great value for the exceptional amenities offered.

One of the highlights of our visit was the recreation and game area, which kept the whole family entertained. The facilities were well-maintained and offered a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy.

What truly set this campground apart, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I was particularly touched by their kindness and attentiveness when my youngest daughter fell ill. They went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable and that we had everything we needed.

Overall, I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a beautiful, affordable, and family-friendly place to stay by Lake Huron. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning!

Great stay!

Our family has been here for almost a week. We have had a great first experience in spots 33 and 53. This was our first time taking our travel trailer to a campground and we have had a great experience. The campground was easy to navigate even with a larger rig. They have a nice beach for families. The amenities are well kept and the staff has been super patient and helpful with our newbie questions. We will definitely stay here again.

Rustic and wooded on the lake.

This is an older Campground. Wooded Rustic with gravel drive access. We enjoyed our four day stay. Had full hookups, was quiet and enjoyable.

Nice place.

We stayed here 3 nights. Tight space but doable. A lot of mud when raining. They have some on the lake spots as well. Overall a good experience and close to what we wanted to do in the area. Very friendly place.

SiteAcross from the laundry facility which was convenient for our use.

Great view of Lake Huron

We had a great site on the lake, an end site with the shoreline in front of us. We had site #48 with water and electric and a great view. Big bath house and laundry room. We went kayaking in the lake it was crystal clear and cool water. Had a great time here at this campground.

Castle rock is across the highway so kayaking and looking back towards the campsite had a good view of castle rock.

In town st. Ignace we bought some local whitefish smoked fish dip that was excellent.

We took the ferry over to mackinac island it was so busy you could barely get down the streets. We did a horse and carriage tour then hit the pink pony for well needed drinks.
