A Home Away from Home

I just moved here with my family about 10 minutes down the road from Warren Dunes, and Warren Dunes is one of the main reasons why we moved here. I’ve been coming to this park since I was a kid, and we usually camp there once or twice a year. This year I think we’ve camped there at least 10 times…

A hidden gem in South West Michigan

It’s a tiny heavily forested campground. The staff is phenomenal and we had an awesome time!

Great stay

Village owned and operated campground, right on the St. Joseph River. Open all year. Many long term campers. $35 gets you a level full hook up site with WiFi. Very clean and well maintained with friendly staff.

Great campground.

We stayed for two nights and had a great experience.  Campsites had decent privacy and  even on a Friday night, quiet hours were respected.  We were on a wheelchair accessible site which was the only one available, so there was more pavement than the other sites.

There was a dishwashing sink…

Clean, on the river

It has been a few years since we stayed. But the facilities were in the process of being redone, and the bath house was exceptional. Only complaint, they seemed a little elitest with camper age.

Unruly

Rules don’t seem to apply as people walk right thru your site. 1 person even walked up by me while I was cooking to see what it was. Drinkers partying loud music and voices till after midnight. The facilities are not the worst i have seen but the toilet in the men’s facility leaks at the base by…

Nice sites, close to beach, good amenities

Tent sites are all in one cleared area that is a short walk from the parking spots. I had the place to myself as it was Labor Day Monday night. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Pool looked nice. Best part is that it’s a 3 minute drive to a public beach with great swimming and a beautiful sunset.…

Great state park

Campground quiet and bathroom and showers very clean. Our site was close to the trails leading to the dunes. Loved watching the waves on Lake Michigan and climbing the sand dunes.

Perfect Combination

Big lots, lots of activities for the kids. But there is enough space that you can just quietly enjoy your campsite too.

Great place close to home

I took my son for a quick trip, but the camp grounds were full, so we made a day of hiking, biking and fishing…of course we had a picnic, too. The trail head near the fishing dock was the perfect place to park. It allowed hiking one way and biking the other. The trails were very well maintained,…
