Nice sites close to home

Close to the house if I need a quick camping fix. Very clean restrooms and hot showers. The campsites on the hilltop used to be our favorite in the fall. They put cabins on them last year which for us is disappointing. Lots of trails throughout. Have even hiked in from the beach to camp for a…

Love coming here

I love coming here. Nice little hike in sites. No need to hike 7 miles if you don't want to. There are a couple other parking options from 1-2 miles in and out. Have stayed in a variety of sites here. B3 is my favorite. Right on the water, beautiful views. B10 is awesome and slightly secluded from…

Good place…Good price

Although not the property owner’s responsibility, the 1/4 mile entrance from the asphalt road to the campground entrance is commensurate with a mortar range. The road is horrible. Spaces were adequate and level. The mature trees provide wonderful shade and enhance the grounds appeal. Staff…

Beautiful

We love camping here every year. They have a beautiful beach and camp sites right on the water. The campground is also close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

Not a bad place

Campsites are close to each other but overall we had a good time there would go back.

Filthy, unorganized and unkempt

Rotten picnic tables IF your site even had one. Campers had no fire pits and/or picnic tables. Dirty masks and gloves laying around.  Very unlevel site. Old dirty campgrounds.  Horribly loud from I75. Run by kids. Disgusting I would rather have given my money elsewhere. And charging $7.50 for a…

Crowded but nice lake

If you’re in a camper, make sure you have an extension cord. The power is quite a ways away. There is no internet or WiFi access. The camping spaces are VERY close together so it is very cramped. The fire pits are VERY DEEP, which means you have to be right up on it to see or feel the flame 2 feet…

Eh

The whole “key card, locking gate” thing is cool, until i go to get food and all of a sudden i’m locked out of the campground & can’t get to my camper and dogs at 10pm. called both numbers on the sign to hear nothing but voicemails? waited 10 minutes, called a couple times and walked up to the…

Clean and Peaceful

Very relaxing and quiet place. I couldn't believe how clean the bathrooms were and how often they took care of them. Amazing trails to walk on and fishing piers everywhere.

Beautiful State Park

My family and I love this park. Quiet with large level sites. Everything from back ins with only electrical to pull throughs with full hook-ups.

Very Nice Big Rig Friendly

Although we only stayed one night, we will be back. All concrete roads and pads. Basketball court, sand volleyball, playground, dog run, batting cages and go karts within walking distance. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable of the area.

Small and friendly

The smallest KOA we have been to but it was a nice change. The new owner helped us back into our site - he was very nice and enthusiastic. Pizza delivery on a rainy night was a nice touch. We will definitely come back when it is warm enough to swim in the lake!
