The staff ruined the park

You don't need much to have a good camping experience. But the staff here completely wrecked it. The management was rude loud and made this campground unwelcoming. For the price they have you pay there should be something better. For the sake of future campers they need to retrain her how to communicate like a person or fire her. They may be no hope

The staff is awful

The manager there is very self entitled and mean. I watched her scream at girl in her car for 10 min. Just threatening to arrest her and take her car, FOR PARKING IN THE PARKING LOT. I know it was the manager because she kept screaming it like it gave her power. I packed up and left immediately. I don't want my family around a women like that. I'm still SHOCKED she is allowed to be in charge.

Crowded but nice lake

If you’re in a camper, make sure you have an extension cord. The power is quite a ways away. There is no internet or WiFi access. The camping spaces are VERY close together so it is very cramped. The fire pits are VERY DEEP, which means you have to be right up on it to see or feel the flame 2 feet below ground level. The lake was beautiful and very busy with lots of boats. It’s a reasonable campground.

Nice Campground

Nice family campground with a beach, swimming area, and boat launch. Lake is supposed to be great for walleye fishing, even if it a tad shallow. Campground is well maintained with picnic tables, and fire rings. On holiday weekends it is heavily used, so you may want to call ahead before you go.

It's okay if you want to stay close

When I first met my husband he always camped here, but because we only live twenty minutes from there, I would go home at night. I do not care for this campgrounds at all. I gave it three stars because you can bring a boat and tie it to shore in the rustic area which was convenient. I will never camp there again as it's very noisy, dirty, and I did not feel safe there. My husband liked it, but he likes everything! Lol. The beach is dirty and always crowded. It costs a fee to get in (county park) and I never felt it was worth my money. Skip this if you can help it.
