Biking the Anderson Lake trail and swimming in Bass Lake are two reasons campers return to this state forest campground in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Sites run large with some shade and good separation between neighbors, though the campground can get busy. Bathrooms are kept clean. The season runs April through October, and RVs are limited to 20 feet, so plan accordingly.
