Quiet

Quiet and pretty national forest rustic CG. Smaller private sites with some being on the water. Clean vault toilets. Connect with nature here.

Rustic but near a small town

This campground is a few miles out of a small town down a decent gravel road. There are sites lakeside as well as some on the other side of the camp road.

Midweek still found this spot to be active. We discovered some empty spots but most were taken. A side road takes you to the boat launch and picnic area. Families took advantage of the lake and went swimming too.

This would be more enjoyable with fewer people but we still enjoyed our time. It would be 4 stars if we found more hiking trails.

Good sites close to town

Very clean and quiet campground. Very close to the town of Marenisco. Road noise was minimal but I wish it was tucked off the road a bit more. Lake view was nice
