Free and reservation-free, Alander Trail Campground requires a 1.5 to 2-mile hike from the parking area at the trailhead, with all gear carried in on foot. Sites are spaced for privacy, each with a fire pit, grill rack, and picnic table. Bear boxes are available but shared among nearby campers. Wildlife, including coyotes and bears, has been reported in the area. Campers exploring campgrounds near Mount Washington will find this one among the more remote options.
