Myers Landing and RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Myers Landing and RV Park, a drive-in and boat-in facility on the water in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, with full hookups for rigs up to 50 feet. Rates have caused some confusion: the website lists $40, but at least one visitor reports being charged $47 or more on arrival, so it's worth confirming current pricing before making the trip. The campground provides electric, water, and sewer hookups at most sites, along with a dump station, showers, drinking water, and WiFi. Pets are allowed.

Water access is a consistent draw, with several campers noting waterfront views and direct access to the lake. Scott F. describes it as a "rustic mom and pop place tucked away in a country setting right on the water." A small on-site market near the lake entrance gives campers a convenient stop for supplies. Staff at the store receives repeated praise across reviews.

A few practical issues are worth noting before arrival. At least one reviewer found the 30-amp electrical hookup had a negative ground and was unusable, and the tap water carried a strong metallic smell that made it unpleasant for some campers. Sewer connections are not available at every individual site; dump points are distributed throughout the grounds instead.

Anglers and paddlers exploring the region have other options nearby. Mermentau River RV Park sits roughly eight miles to the northeast, and Lorrain Parish Park Campground provides a different setting about eleven miles northwest.

You can do better

Their website says the rate is $40 but when you get there, it's $47+ dollars. 30 amp hookup had a negative ground and was unusable. There is not a sewer dump at each site but there are places scattered throughout the campground where you can dump. The lady at the store is very nice but the campground is not.

Nice lake side spot, market, water smells bad

The campground is very nice, the lakeside is beautiful, we loved the little market right in the front by the lake and the lady working there is very nice. However the water smelled very badly like metal and we had to turn it off and use our own tank water since it smelled so yucky. Not sure if that's the case on every camp site.

Perfect weekend getaway

Don’t know why I’ve never heard of this place before but it’s amazing. Rustic mom and pop place tucked away in a country setting right on the water. We had a waterfront view and hated to leave to head home. Staff is so nice and accommodating!!! Will be back!!!
