Beautiful nature & spacious

Beautiful nature surrounding the campground. Camp sites felt very large with tons of space & privacy. The staff was nice and we checked in quite late around 10PM and they were still there and welcomed us. Only stayed for one night so didn't have the time to explore around too much.

Nice, lovely staff, crowded

We only stayed here for one night, the location is pretty good and the staff (which is all a huge family) are super nice. The campground is nice too, it's just very crowded, the RVs/campers are side by side and there's not much privacy. Other than that it was lovely.

Safe, nice, close to White Sands

This campground is quite remote, however it's about 30 minutes from the White Sands National Park, which is super cool to see and also about 30 minutes from the little mountain town called Cloudcroft, which has a lot of charm and many cute shops. The managers are a nice old couple. However we had a massive thunder storm in the middle of the night, which was slightly terrifying. I'd check the weather in advance.

Stunning landscape!

This was a very spontaneous stop for us, but it was quite breathtaking! Very rare site to see this much sand in that area. Amazing for Kids, families and adults of all ages! Great for taking photos at sunset. Nice camp site. 5 stars!

Lovely, peaceful, friendly

This camp ground is quite in the middle of nowhere, but surprisingly cute. One thing that stunned us was the family of deers that seem to visit every evening! That was a lovely surprise for us! The campground hosts are super nice & helpful and we had a good time. There's a small playground too and seems to be a good place to bring your horses!

Beautiful, peaceful, close to Austin

This is a beautiful and huge camp ground with lots of nature to admire. The camp sites are spacious and feel very private, yet you don't feel alone with other campers nearby you. We had a stunning full hook up camp site with a climbable tree and took a hike to the waterfalls! There's lots of hiking trails that go really far, if you have the time. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful, safe, many amenities

This was one of the priciest camp grounds we've gone to on our US RV tour (~$60) but it certainly has good reasons to charge a bit more! Very safe gated community, quiet, staff was friendly and the camp site has many amenities in case you're staying longer like a gym and a pool! Everything is very well taken care of and organized.

Nice lake side spot, market, water smells bad

The campground is very nice, the lakeside is beautiful, we loved the little market right in the front by the lake and the lady working there is very nice. However the water smelled very badly like metal and we had to turn it off and use our own tank water since it smelled so yucky. Not sure if that's the case on every camp site.

Very close to New Orleans, are not so good

If you're just stopping by for a night in New Orleans this is the camp ground to go with! Very affordable, paid $30 for full hookup, compared to other RV sites near the city were about triple the price. You can Uber into the french quarter for about $12 and takes 15 minutes. However it's not a very safe neighborhood and you can tell by the very loud noises at night (trains, cars spinning etc), so if you're a light sleeper, you might have a hard time.

Beautiful nature, loud bugs at night

Very friendly staff. Beautiful camp site in deep forest with a gorgeous lake next to it. One heads up; it gets very loud at night in terms of the bugs! They're quite active there. Bring mosquito spray for sure.

Nice to stay a night, nothing special

We got to the camp ground late (and it was pouring rain!) and we let them know way in advance we'll be arriving late, they said it was fine and they'll be expecting us. We even called them multiple times when we got to the gate, but nobody picked up. So we decided to drive in quickly after another car went in as that seemed to be the only way (fyi if anyone deals with the same problem). Staff was okay, we tried to find drinking water, which seemed to be more of a hurdle than it should be. But after all it was fine for a night. There's (apparently) a nice waterfall on the side of the park.

Close-ish to Nashville city

We chose this campground mainly because we wanted to be close to the city of Nashville. However it took quite a while Uber into the city (about 30+ minutes) and be careful when those surge prices hit after midnight you pay easily $80 to get back to the camp ground. The staff was really nice. They accommodated us well and were friendly. There is a lot of kids! Mainly kids with parents tbh. The tiny gift shop in the front is cute!

Very nice campground, staff a bit careless

We loved the campground, it was very luscious and beautiful and even though there was a lot of people (June 2021), it still felt like you had your privacy in your own site. However, only 4 stars because we got there and somebody was parked in our assigned spot, so we called the front desk and they didn't seem to care much or tried to get them out, so eventually we just decided to go to another open site, which worked out fine, however we shouldn't have needed to deal with this considering we paid almost $60 for a one night stay.

Peaceful, lovely & historic!

We loved this camp ground! It was the first one we booked on our RV trip and we were a bit inexperienced at first how the hook ups work, but Roger the camp site host helped us immediately, even though we arrived super late and he explained everything to us and was just so kind! The camp ground is small, private, very peaceful and in the middle of historic buildings fr the 1800s! Definitely recommend :)
