Anglers and paddlers tend to get the most out of the setting here.
Campers planning a longer stay in eastern Iowa can also look at Camp Liberty to the east or check camping spots around Wheatland for additional options in the region. Pets are welcome at Bennett Park. Reservations are worth making ahead of summer weekends, particularly when local sports tournaments draw families to the area and sites fill faster than usual.
