Sandy T. noted that "the bathhouse was older but was clean," while another camper mentioned the facility serves as a local hangout with considerable full-timer presence. Country roads lead to the campground with limited signage along the approach route. Campers needing supplies must travel a couple miles from the grounds. For a different camping experience, Hamilton County State Fish and Wildlife Area offers a more remote setting.
