This small campground is located in a partially restored 19th-century mining town. Please plan to bring your own water. Don't use the water running through the campground from Jordan Creek because it may contain mercury from prior mining activity in the area.

This site is seasonally closed from the first snowfall until Memorial Weekend. Please contact Owyhee County at 208-495-1154 for more information.

70 miles southwest of Boise in the Owyhee Mountains; From Highway 78 near Murphy, turn south at the Silver City sign. From Jordan Valley on Highway 95 near Sheaville, turn off to Silver City.
