We can accommodate self contained campers/RVs only. We provide power and water for both campsites. A full service truck stop with dump station, grocery store and several fast food and sit down restaurants are 1/3 miles away. We are 40 minutes from Callaway Gardens and the Atlanta airport.

On the outskirts of Columbus. Fishing, Paved river walk for walking and biking, near Ft Benning and golf course. Pleasant owner with big plans to make this a great park. Assisted us with getting to and in our site at dark. Camp host is very helpful.
Cons: large gravel on road and sites making leveling difficult. Sites are fairly close together but better than some. Landscape is in its early stage so grass is sparse. Beautiful trees surround the area but none on sites.

We enjoyed our stay at Pine Mountain RV Resort. Our site had full hook ups to include cable TV and grass on both side of the RV which was great for our fur babies. We enjoyed the pool but the hot tub water was green with stuff floating in it. I rated the place four stars, would have been five is we could have used the hot tube.

This is a nice RV park. There are full hook ups, a laundry room, 3 ponds with fishing, decent cell service. They also did a 4th of July get together for the local community and had blow up rides, a dj, food and fireworks. The sites are spaced out in some sections and closer in others, but overall very nice.

Lots of travel trailers here, but clean grounds. Bathrooms gnarly. Seems to be a lot of retirees and long term folks here. The guy who runs it was courteous and nice. Quiet except for the train that rumbled by at 3AM. Not a lot of solitude.

We camped here for 2 nights in early March, so that we could hike Providence Canyon. Campground and bathhouse are clean, but not much privacy. We were facing two of our neighbors. There is not a lot to do in the area except for Providence Canyon, and of course, if you have a boat, the lake at Florence Marina. Poor cell service, but they do have full hook-ups. Campground was quiet.
RangerThis park is located in the small town of Omaha, GA, you will need to plan your stay accordingly for supplies as there is no shopping available within a few miles. The town of Eufaula, AL is 20 miles away and Lumpkin, GA is about 16 miles away, these are the closest places to get supplies and food. This park is a great place to plan fishing activities on the Walter F. George Reservoir (Lake Eufaula). There is a well equipped marina for short and long term boat storage/docking and also includes fish cleaning stations on site. There is a boat launch area and the camp store is equipped for most of the fishing supplies you will need.
The camp ground is an improved campground which includes water, electric, sewer, tables and grills. The roads through the campground are paved with ample room for maneuvering all classes of RV’s without issues. The bath houses are very clean and well equipped. There are a few trails for hiking down by the waters edge but we didn’t use them during this stay.
The only negative we can offer is the area was very wet when we visited due to rain the days before. Many camp sites were not useable with visible water standing and the areas around the bath houses were also flooded.
GuideStayed on a long pull- through site #9. Full hook-ups was a nice surprise. Sites are spacious, campground was full and it didn’t feel crowded. Nice park to take a walk l, you can rent a boat and I hear there’s some great fishing ( I’m not a fisherman). Stayed there to visit Providence Canyon. There’s two playgrounds, nothing special but my kids got a chance to play a bit and stretch after the drive. Cell service can be challenging, T-mobile was only Edge service ( remember that?) was able to stream video for my kids on AT&T and Verizon. My site was totally wooded and that could have contributed to the difficulty in cell service.
RangerHad a nice weekend at this small state park. The site was very clean with fire pit, picnic table, and full hook ups including cable. The fire pit had been cleaned out before we arrived which was a nice surprise. The bathhouse was centrally located and was spotless. It included an interior wash room and was heated which was appreciated on the chilly evenings. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Showers also had a separate changing area with plenty of shelves and hooks to keep clothes dry. Loved the recycling on site! The sites are pretty close to each other and because it’s located in a pine forest, there’s not much privacy but enough space to enjoy the patio. We’re glad we checked it out!

We stayed at Chewacla State Park as a quick call in for same day reservations, you can’t makes reservations on-line but can by calling or emailing your request. For additional information you can find answers at their web site (https://www.alapark.com/parks/chewacla-state-park). We spent two days here and was assigned to site # 10 of the 1st loop. There are two loops consisting 36 sites, one loop of 16 sites and another with 20. All sites except # 1 and # 2 have water, electric, sewer and TV connections. There are also 10 primitive camp sites located between the two full hook up loops. We used the swimming area which is close to the camp ground, the lake has a swim platform which has an elevated diving board about 10 to 12 feet high. There are many hiking and biking trails throughout the park, there are some very aggressive mountain bike trails with challenges to test even the expert riders. We also visited the waterfall which is a man made feature built by the CCC and doubles as the dam for the lake. This is a nice park but I feel it would be very crowded if all sites are full, the facilities are also showing their age regarding the bath houses but were cleaned daily.
There was excellent Verizon phone service and LTE data, we also received about 12 very clear over the air TV stations.
ScoutThis park as raised its prices and no longer offers the Good Sam discount. The pool and playground are nice. It also has a nice building available for groups to rent. Other than that.. the price is high for what you get.
LegendWe stayed in site # 16 it has full hook up. The park was busy it was Halloween they have a haunted boat ride and a hayride. Great place to spend Halloween. It was decorated well and there was a fest going on we won a basket of goodies. We walked to the lake there were so many dragonflies it was cool. The birds were swooping up the dragonflies it was interesting to watch. We would go watch sunset at the lake funny our phones read Al. time not GA time.
We had a good time in the park you can kayak or rent a little boat it was cheap. We rented a boat my husband fished and we drove around the lake. You can have a AL. or GA fishing license here the lake runs through both states. Lots of blooming Lilly's, big oaks with moss, shorebirds and gators.
Close to this park is Providence canyon which looks like a small Bryce canyon except it was created by poor farming. It's a neat place to see about 6 miles from the park. There's an old church there and some real old graves. There's a nice hike along the rim you can hike down in the canyon too.
Went into Eufaula to Antique and check out the town. The drive there and back is pretty.

I stayed at 3 Creeks for a week as a dry run with a new Class A motorhome. The sites were not too close together, so that is a plus. A lot of full time residents, but mostly a quiet in-the-woods location. They have a mini water park, so expect some playtime noises during operation hours. Full hookups with 50 amp service and friendly hosts. Pet friendly, though most people do not clean up after their fur children.

ScoutStayed in the 500 series camping area prior to Memorial Day Weekend for two nights. The staff at check in were extremely friendly and helpful. All camping/RV spots in 500 series were well spaced, the ones nearest the lake seem a little more congested. Easy to navigate with my Solis, but a large Class A or trailer would be challenging. The bathroom/shower facilities were some of the cleanest, well kept I’ve ever seen. Hiked to Cascade Falls with my wife and our two dogs (2 miles in/2 miles out). Will definitely go back.

Lots of trails in park. President Roosevelt had favorite overlook in park which now has his statue. FDR Little White House and museum are very interesting and only a few minutes away in Warm Springs. Pine Mountain is pretty small town.

ScoutCampground is fairly large with lots of sites for RVs, a few Cabins, yurts, and even tent sites. There is a really nice and well maintained pool, hot tub, and splash area for small kids. The RV sites near the pool are concrete pads and well spaced out. The sites below the pool area are a little tighter and un-level and our lot was covered in ants. Since we arrived late at night we didn’t realize the amount of ants until we woke up to them crawling all over our camper. 30 amp circuit was not adequate. The breaker continually tripped while using small kitchen appliances. Other than that we had a great time and really appreciated the trash pickup twice a day and the Dollar General that was only a 1/4 mile down the road.
ScoutFull Hookups, easy entry, paved sites, Quiet park, Park Manager Jeff is wonderful. There's a haunted antebellum mansion, a hiking trail and a huge picnic area and playground. It's a City park with only 30 RV sites and the rates are very reasonable. We're only 15 minutes from Tiger Town Mall and serious shopping and about 20 minutes from Auburn University. Highly Recommend staying here unless you need all the amenities in the world. If you need a place to stay that is quiet, reasonably prices, well maintained and close to anything you need to get to this is your place.
