Nestled in the woods

Campsites are widely spaced in this wooded area, with a dirt road entrance. Full hookups worked great, the internet worked fine, the bathhouse was clean and fairly modern. A great place for a day or two to get away from it all, cuz there's nothing nearby.

Nice but a little rundown.

Very nice campground, with the campsites dispersed within the trees. The campsites are a bit close, and there are some obvious maintenance issues. Unfortunately the pool was closed when I was there, unsure why. The bathhouse I used was recently updated and clean, the laundry area was clean but the…

Perfect escape from RV park madness

What this family is building here is nothing short of awesome. Quiet, calm, creative, beautiful…super inspirational. What a cool family and concept. We will definitely be back. Can't wait to see the tiny house homestead progress. Full hookups, flat fine gravel, great wifi, they even brought us a…

Nice hiking trail, beautiful lake views.

The main campground is flat making it easy to back up campers or RV’s in slots. Some pull through spots. We were tent camping and choose a walk in slot. 27, 28 & 29. Our site was 29 it is about 100 yards from the main campground down a single lane sandy road that leads into a wooded area. We…

Location!

What a fabulous location. So close to the 95. Easy drive through spots and all the amenities of home. Including a convenience store, laundry, a fishing river, security gates, easy check in, dog park, even video games. The best part is that it sets next to the Savannah Ogeechee Canal Museum. What a…

Beautiful & Clean

This was our very first camping trip (2 adults, 2 kids & a Lab.) We arrived to friendly service & easily found our site (#6.) The tent sites are right on the water, which is home to swans, ducks, turtles & possibly gators too! The sandy pad for our tent was perfect, very level &…

Peace and tranquillity in the city

Red gate is a hidden gem. This is a beautiful farm of 200 acres situated 5 minutes from downtown Savannah. Everything you could ask for: pool, ponds, horseback riding, goats, beautiful landscaping, room to roam or play. We had a fabulous time hanging out here and will definitely return. Call if…

Unique Farm Experience

I’ve never “glamped” before, so I can’t comment much from that perspective. It is not a “luxury” spot. But for us it was better than that because it was fun, comfortable and easy.

About 15 minutes from Ridgeland proper with stores, dining, etc, Stonewood Farm is tucked away in the pines a short…

Clean, simple - great swamp scenery

Loved seeing the cypress trees in the water and the Spanish moss.

A few campers had kayaks with them and it looked like a great place to paddle and explore - but it did have gator warnings, so not sure what precautions one needs to take.

The campgrounds were super clean, including a modern…

Quiet and convenient

Very nice farm! Beautiful grounds with ponds and animals (horses and goats). Great location. We took a trolley tour of Savannah. They picked us up and dropped us off at the farm (about 10 minute ride to Savannah). Next visit we plan to do the horseback rides.

Nice facility

We only stopped over here for one night on our way south. It was a typical KOA with a variety of amenities - store, laundry, full hookups, propane, etc. Friendly folks at the check in and a helpful escort to our site. The bathrooms/shower were modern, clean, and well-equipped, plenty of hot water.…
