Description

While we are new to Dyrt, we've been active on other camping sites for a while with great reviews and many happy campers.

We're not an RV park, but rather a family farm with only 3 full RV hookups sites, beautiful views, and lots of wide open space. Forget being packed into tiny spaces when you're here.

Our beautiful unique property has been in the family for 3 generations. Over the years, our family plus artists, musicians, and writers friends have come here to refresh and get inspiration for projects. But with The Dyrt we've opened up for others to enjoy.

We have a pond where you can kayak, relax on the dock, or feed the huge fish (sorry no fishing allowed.) Also, on our property, there are swings, tree house deck, obstacle course, fire pit area, wooden bridge, picnic table, abundant bird life, and walking trails. There's also plenty of wide-open space where you can play frisbee, run, do yoga, and stargaze at night.

There's plenty to do in this area, using the farm as your base. Claxton, our hometown, is a great friendly, small-town with grocery and hardware stores and restaurants. Many guests like to side-trip over to the towns of Statesboro, Metter, Vidalia, and Savannah, plus the Golden Isles.
