Gem of a campground!

This was our second trip to Seminole State Park and it was even better than the first. We had a beautiful lake view on a huge pull through site! Site was spotless, including the fire pit. Bath house was super clean and always stocked. The grounds were beautifully kept. We had fun walking the…

Peaceful lakeside camping

Uncrowded lakeside camping. Great for swimming, boating, fishing, and kayaking. Very quiet and peaceful. Great camp hosts. Very clean bathrooms and showers. My visit was during the summer months, didn’t get any mosquitos bites but there were a lot of gnats, so bring bug repellent or screened…

Nice Park

While this is still a pretty park, it was hit hard by Hurricane Michael. Still has pretty sites around a nice backwater lake of the Chattahoochee River. Really nice for fishing and winter camping, it has limited shade for summer outings. Nice staff.

Located 16 miles south of Donalsonville via Georgia Highway 39 or 23 miles west of Bainbridge on GA Hwy 253/Spring Creek Rd. From Tallahassee (approx. 1 hour, 10 minutes) take Hwy 27 north into Bainbridge then Hwy 253/Spring Creek Rd west.
