Del Raton RV Park

Train noise punctuates the nights at Del Raton RV Park, though campers report the sound stays comparable to an air conditioning unit. This private RV park in Delray Beach accommodates rigs up to 60 feet with full hookups clustered conveniently together on gravel sites featuring concrete patios. The angled site layout facilitates easier maneuvering for most RVs.

Staff members receive consistent praise for their helpfulness, and the park maintains clean facilities including restrooms and showers. A small fenced dog area provides space for pets. The St. Augustine grass receives nightly watering, though shade remains limited across most sites. Water pressure runs below average according to extended-stay guests. Atlantic Dunes Park offers a coastal alternative for those preferring oceanfront camping.

Clean, kind, beach vibes

I lived in So. FL for 5 yrs and probably passed the RV park 1000 times. I love that this is about a mile from my favorite beach spot, A1A, and. Few miles from all things Delray Beach! The owners are very kind, answer all your questions etc. the facilities are clean, the guests are nice and quiet. Now that i live more north, We hope to be back again and make this an annual adventure!

Clean and compact

Stayed here little over a month with a brand new 2021 Jayco 284BHS.

Pros: Good location. Lots around for anything you might need. Super friendly staff. Small fenced-in dog area. Quiet accept for the train at night. Most sites are angled. Easy in and out. Nice concrete patio and gravel sites. Beautiful St. Augustine grass (watered nightly) Water, power and Sewer are all close together. (see picture)

Cons: Small sites with no furniture or fire pit. (no room anyway) The patios are higher than the gravel so you might have problems with fold out stairs. Train tracks are across the street but not terribly loud. Not louder than an AC fan. Larger rigs will have a hard time maneuvering in and out. Not much room to park a vehicle. Internet is hit and miss a lot of the time. Not reliable enough for work. Water pressure is sub-par. (see Pic) I changed my filter and still had issues.

Honorable mentions: Price is higher than average because of location but well worth it. Very little shade in a few spots but mostly very open. Nice you don't have to clean your roof off all the time.

Overall, I think it's one of the better locations in MIA. I would recommend a stay here to friends.
