It’s the bees knees

This is a working bee farm, so bee aware if you have allergies. It is quiet, clean, and airy. You can’t hear your neighbors. Just take a breath and relax.

Love Steve the owner, he is very accommodating and loves what he does.

The air strip is an added extra. I love watching the planes take off and land.

All sites are full hookup. Great place to stay if you want to stay for awhile. So much to do and see.

Got here in March and it is now May. Feels like home.

Very nice

We loved staying here, very nice and quiet. If your looking for something that is a little different than just the typical RV park with a ton of other campers this is the place. Steve was very easy to work with and we will definitely be coming back!

Unhealthy bees and uneven lot

We arrived in the late afternoon, parked the trailer and realized immediately that the spot was extremely uneven. If you're camping in a trailer even lots are a must. The lot we stayed in was not mowed, many ant piles and mosquitoes. The bee hive boxes look like they hadn't been taken care of in years. Steven rushed us out in less than an hour while we had so much to pack up (takes 1 hour to pack up a trailer correctly.

Sorry you felt like you needed to post a bad review. We value our reviews and try to kindly accommodate peoples needs. We did accommodate your last minute request and made several exceptions to our typical policy for you. We normally require at least one day's notice and make sure the grass is mowed and the site is ready, but since you called 20 minutes before arriving we didn't have time to get the mower out there. And we accommodated your last minute request for a one night stay despite having a 5-night minimum. That site is actually very level, but due to lack of trailer-backing skill, you were parked cock-eyed, 20 feet away from the normal parking position. Even so, that position was well within a typical RV leveling range. Normal checkout time is 11am. Around 4:30pm, you had still not departed so we called and offered any needed assistance in departing. (A sincere offer since a sway bar was disconnected and dangling when you arrived.) By the time you left, it was 6.5 hours past checkout time. Given our typical advance notice requirement the grass would have been mowed and trimmed. No good deed goes unpunished. I hope you find happiness at another place that will allow your dog and three traveling beehive boxes to sit unattended at the campsite while you overstay a reasonable departure time.

P.S. We’ve had long conversations with the mosquitos and we can’t understand why they bother people so much.
