Description

The Lodge at San Isabel has a long history. This area was designed and created to be one of the first recreational areas in Colorado. In those early days (late 1930's), The Lodge at San Isabel was the mess hall for the CC camp workers. Today people from all over the world visit Lake San Isabel for camping, fishing, backpacking, biking, canoeing, wildlife viewing and picnicking. Our summer temperatures of 80 degrees and cool evenings you will be able to explore the Wet Mountains and the 1.6 million acres San Isabel National Forest and Wilderness area. With 300 days of annual sunshine and breathtaking mountain landscapes the high country of Southern Colorado playground. It's a great place to get away from it all to spend time with family and friends.
