Ouray KOA Holiday

Accessible by standard vehicles, this KOA Holiday accommodates RVs up to 90 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The campground requires reservations and operates as a paid facility with an on-site store that closes at 5:00 PM, though staff will arrange late check-ins when needed.

Sites feature fire rings, grills, and picnic tables, with some back-in options available for smaller rigs. The facility maintains clean restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, while WiFi extends throughout the property. Two playgrounds and a jump pad provide entertainment for families, and firewood sells on-site for evening campfires.

"The campground is well-maintained and clean," notes Cindy D., reflecting the consistent maintenance standards reviewers mention. The property includes both RV sites and tent camping areas, plus rental cabins for those preferring indoor accommodations. Staff members receive regular praise for their helpful approach to guest services.

Located near off-road trail access points, the campground serves as a staging area for side-by-side vehicle adventures, though trailers are required for transporting ATVs and UTVs to trailheads. Campers seeking a more rustic experience might consider Ouray Roadside Parking for dispersed camping options.

Campers consistently highlighted the clean, well-maintained facilities and exceptionally friendly staff. The family-friendly atmosphere with multiple playgrounds and quiet, tree-lined sites makes it appealing for various camping styles.

Quaint and quiet

Stayed at a small back-in site with 30 amp & electric in our camper van. The site had a fire ring, grill, and picnic table. Loved that they had a store, laundry room, and firewood for sale. The store closes at 5:00 & we arrived at 5:10 but the office lady still checked us in and made sure we had firewood. The campground is well-maintained and clean.

Great cozy place for families

We had a great stay in a cabin for our little family and a tent for our other family party. Near each other and close to the bathrooms and playground. Kids loved the playground and jump pad! Close by to Ouray for great SXS and off-road trails. Must tow there with trailer. Beautiful scenery.

Great for families

This campground has so much to offer families! Stunning views, private spaces nestled amidst trees, clean facilities, a great restaurant and two playgrounds! The staff are some of the sweetest and friendliest we’ve met. We’ll definitely be back.

Friendly, clean, quiet!

I am not a KOA person, and this was my first visit… I have been on the road a couple of days camping and needed a hot shower. This was a great location with very friendly staff, very clean campground, and everyone staying there was respectfully quiet and also, friendly.
