Last Minute

We had to change plans last minute and arrive here on short notice. They had sites to accommodate us and they were very welcoming. This was hands down the nicest privately owned rv park/campground we have ever stayed at! The bathroom suites have recently been remodeled and they are so nice! Best shower of our 10 day road trip. Nice laundry facilities, community rec room, hot tub, and even a hiking trail to the top of the mountain. Highly recommend.

Great spot near Co Springs

What a great find close to Co Springs. It’s about 30-40 minutes south, and you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere! A perfect alternative to the crowded campgrounds nearer to the city. The sites are nicely spaced, especially the pull-thru where we stayed. Owners are friendly and helpful, and overall it was super quiet. Phone service was spotty, but there was decent WiFi. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds zipping about. We would definitely return if we’re back in the area. Thanks for a great stay.

Colorado Springs Best Kept Secret

One of the cutest, cleanest, campgrounds we’ve stayed. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We stayed in one of the pull through sites and found it to be spacious with everything working as expected. Only minor knock was the cell service which was nonexistent but they did have free internet which was a satisfactory alternative.

Wonderfully quiet campground with nicely arranged sites.

A great midpoint basecamp location for going up to Colorado Springs area or down to Canon City(Royal Gorge) areas.  The campground was always quiet in the evenings and felt secure.  There were some black bear visitors during our stay so be cautious with food.

Quiet, friendly and great location

Nestled in the foothils, just off 115, 20 minutes between I-25 and the royal gorge, this campground is a quiet luxury get-away. The sites are clean and spacious with full hookups. No neighbor drama, and the staff here are very nice. If you're visiting the Royal Gorge, I recommend staying here since its so close and affordable.

Best RV park so far for us

We were told we got the last spot. So we were pretty relieved to find that not only did we get a spot but it was a great one! So much room.

The camper had its own slot with the hook- ups, fire pit and picnic table but there was a lot of room for all of that.

Best part of the site was that there is basically another site attached. It was a manicured spot ringed with pine trees and flower so we pitched a tent and two hammocks there. Perfect for our needs.

Showers were “all in one” with shower sink toilet combo. The laundry was 4x4 new Maytag commercial units. We washed/dried 8 days, 7 people in two machines.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked and paid over the phone.

We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Camping near the Mountains

This is a lovely park about 30 minutes south of Colorado Springs. We camped here for 5 nights in a back in spot with full hookups, site 51. The site was extremely spacious with room to park our truck to the side and still have a big yard. There is a fire pit and picnic table and we were shaded by some big pines. We saw deer wander around the campsites every morning and evening. The sites are terraced so that everyone has a beautiful view. There is no cell service for AT&T or T-Mobile, but you are able to do wifi calling with their WiFi and we streamed a movie one night. From here we visited Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge and Pike’s Peak, all within 30 minutes to one hour’s drive. The bathhouse is extremely clean, with several private bathroom/shower rooms. There is also a laundry with 4 washers & dryers. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the folks are all friendly. I highly recommend!

It’s all about the location!

This is a lovely campground spread out among pines, cedars & hills. However , it is very important to get a spot away from the road. As I’ve read in other reviews, there is a rock quarry just down the road. Beginning early morning until late afternoon M-F, trucks roar up and down this road. If your spot is near the road, as our was, it is very annoying-especially if you try to set outside. Many of the spots in the back are by month only, but plan ahead if you want stay here and get as far away from this busy road as possible. While it is located well away from any town, it’s close enough to CO Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City, 20-30 minutes for great day trips. The grounds and public area are all very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Each afternoon the park was visited by multiple deer and turkey. The only negative here is the road noise!

Perfect RV getaway spot!

Great service and beautiful sites. From the moment we blew the first stop sign, sorry management, until the time we checked into the office they were awesome! We were so excited for our vacation we showed up 4 hours early for our reservation, and they had us in ASAP! Thanks y’all! The gentleman that backed us in and shared some secrets to the fishing in the area was very cool. We are loving it and can’t say enough, oh and the view is beautiful!
