Four Seasons River Inn & RV Park

About

The RV Park offers 30 RV sites and 4 Tent sites, all providing water, sewer and electricity. The sites provide 20, 30 or 50 Amp services.

All sites are private and well defined. The park offers a diversity of shade trees and grassy areas, together with 1285 feet of Gunnison River frontage, all contributing to the welcoming setting to travelers and guests.

The Inn is reminiscent of the days of “Route 66” – both in its pleasing appearance and its prominent location, fronting U.S. 50 as it intersects the Gunnison River. There are eleven spacious motel units containing kitchenettes and varied accommodations with up to three full sized beds. Also, a cozy cabin offers a weekend getaway for you and that special someone.

Convenient campground that accommodated our large rig

Pretty campground with grass at the sites, a river a short walk away (there's a good portion of the campground with riverside sites, but limited for larger rigs). We were up by the highway, so the traffic was loud and the neighbors were fairly close. Not too terrible, and nothing a fan couldn't drown out at night. Could not park our tow vehicle at our site, but got a spot nearby across the road. We had some long term neighbors that let their dogs poop around our hookups, so the day we left was a nightmare. But that's not the campground's fault. They just need to enforce dog cleanup a little more maybe.

Gets an extra star for location on the river!

Overnighted before a hike into Browns Canyon (30 min away) and found everything that most RVers would want in basic accommodations in the high country. Good sites, not too crowded (but can get real full of folks), decent restroom/shower facilities that seem to be getting an upgrade, and a premium location right on the Arkansas River (and US-50). Very close to the east end of Salida, with miles of intermittent fishing access along the highway downstream. Hefty browns and wary rainbows abound. Good park for a longer stay to explore the region in any direction.

Nice riverside campground

This RV park has a good number of riverside spots, which are delightful. Lots of trees, and dense but not too dense packing. Biking distance to downtown salida. It is along the road, and on a slope-- it might be the case that the spots at the top, near the road, are noisy. Not an issue for the riverside spots.

Great park on the river

Four seasons was easily accessible, clean, and service was very friendly. The park allows you to enjoy camping while being close to the small town amenities of Salida.

Clean and quiet

Thankfully we were able to get a site here on short notice over Fourth of July weekend. The campground is situated below the road keeping road noise low. The entrance is at a busy location on the highway and steep so take care while entering. We had a nice site within eyeshot of the river.  There's trees across the property and sites are spaced nicely.  As expected there were many families camping for the holiday weekend and it could have been a party filled night but things quieted down at sunset. There is an open area above the CG that turned out to be a great place to watch Salida’s fireworks. The campground manager was very friendly and good host. We enjoyed our stay.
